Today's Hadith is about Prayer

Narrated Uqbah ibn Amir: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace be upon him) say: Allaah is pleased with a shepherd of goats who calls to prayer at the peak of a mountain, and offers prayer, Allaah, the Exalted, says: Look at this servant of Mine; he calls to prayer and offers it and he fears Me. So I forgive him and admit him to paradise.

(Sunan Abi Dawud, Book 4, Hadith 6)

Today's Hadith is about Respect

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): A black man or a black woman used to sweep the mosque and he or she died. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked about her (or him). He was told that she (or he) had died. He said, "Why did you not inform me? Show me his grave (or her grave)." So he went to her (his) grave and offered her (his) funeral prayer."

(Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Book 8, Hadith 106)

Today's Hadith is about Charity

It was narrated that Harithah (RA) said: "I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace be upon him) say: 'Give charity, for there will come a time when a man will walk about with his charity, and the one to whom he wants to give it will say: If you had brought it yesterday I would have accepted it, but today (I have no need of it)."

(Sunan an-Nasa'i, Book 23, Hadith 2556)

Today’s Hadith is about Sitting on Heels

Tawus (RA) said: We asked Ibn ‘Abbas (RA) about sitting on heels between the two prostrations. He said: It is the Sunnah. We said: We look upon it as a pressure on the foot. He said: This is the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

Today’s Hadith is about Angels

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Angels come to you in succession by night and day, and they meet at Fajr prayer and 'Asr prayer. Then those who spent the night among you ascend, and He (Allah) will ask them, although He knows best: 'In what condition did you leave My slaves.' They will say: 'We left them when they were praying and we came to them when they were praying.'"

(Sunan an-Nasa'i, Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 38)

Today's Hadith is about Al-Kauthar

Anas (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “While I was traveling through Paradise, a river appeared before me whose banks had tents of pearl. I said to the angel: ‘What is this?’ He said: ‘This is Al-Kauthar, which Allah has granted you.’” He said: “Then he put his hand in the clay, and removed musk from it, then I was raised up to Sidrat Al-Muntaha so I saw a magnificent light at it.”

Today's Hadith is about Fasting

It was narrated that Raja bin Haiwah (RA) said: "Abu Umamah Al-Bahili (RA) narrated to me: 'I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), tell me of something by which Allah will benefit me. He said: Take to fasting, for there is nothing like it."'

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah will prepare for him who goes to the mosque (every) morning and in the afternoon (for the congregational prayer) an honorable place in Paradise with good hospitality for (what he has done) every morning and afternoon goings.

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): My friend (the Prophet pbuh) advised me to do three things and I shall not leave them till I die, these are: To fast three days every month, to offer the Duha prayer, and to offer witr before sleeping.

Today's Hadith is about Sneezing

Iyas b. Salama b. al-Akwa reported that his father reported to him that he heard Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) as saying: A person sneezed in his presence and he said to him: May Allah have mercy upon you. And he then sneezed for the second time and Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said to him: He is suffering from cold (and no response is necessary).

Today's Hadith is about Forgiveness

Thauban (RA) reported: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) finished his prayer. He begged forgiveness three times and said: O Allah! Thou art Peace, and peace comes from Thee; Blessed art Thou, O Possessor of Glory and Honour. Walid reported: I said to Auza'i: How is the seeking of forgiveness? He replied: You should say: I beg forgiveness from Allah, I beg forgiveness from Allah, I beg forgiveness from Allah."

(Sahih Muslim, Book 5, Hadith 171)
