Our little ones started school today and the First Day of School can be so heart breaking for moms but know this❤️
Those little tears on the first day of school are more than just crying. They are a child saying, “I’m scared because everything here is new.”
Behind every tear is a little heart leaving the comfort of home for the first time, trusting someone new to care for them, guide them, and keep them safe.
As educators, we must remember that these children are not being difficult they are adjusting. Today they may cry at the gate, hold tightly to their parents, and refuse to let go. But with love, patience, and reassurance, those tears will soon become smiles, friendships, laughter, and beautiful memories.
To every parent whose child cried today: please don't worry. Your child is learning to be brave, independent, and confident.
And to every teacher: handle those little hearts with care. One day, they may not remember their first lesson, but they will remember how you made them feel.
Every tear is a beginning, and every beginning deserves patience, love, and understanding. ❤️
