I always have to remind myself that God's timing is not my timing.
With my natural tendency to be impatient, I feel everything should be moving faster than what it does!
Have you felt that way? Hindsight is 20/20 though.
When I look back at how quickly or slowly the things of life have moved, I realize that God's timing is perfect.
Life always works out better than I ever could have planned because of His timing.
If life had moved at the pace I thought it should, it would not have been what He wanted it to be!
Lord, God, I'm so thankful for Your timing, not mine.

Jesus Is My Saviour
Luke 2:11 (NIV)
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

Devotion:
The greatest gift we have ever received is not something we can buy or earn—it’s a person: Jesus Christ, our Savior. In a world full of uncertainty, pain, and sin, Jesus stepped down from heaven to rescue us. He didn’t come just to be a good teacher or a miracle worker; He came to save us from sin and restore our relationship with God.

To say, “Jesus is my Saviour” is to declare that we trust not in our own goodness, but in His grace. It means we believe that through His death and resurrection, we are forgiven, free, and given new life.

Jesus didn’t just save us once—He continues to walk with us daily, rescuing us from fear, guilt, and hopelessness. Whatever you’re facing today, remember: you have a Savior. You are not alone.

Reflection/Application:

Have you accepted Jesus as your personal Savior?

Are you living in the freedom and peace that only He can give?

Take a moment to thank Him today for saving you and walking with you.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for being my Savior. Thank You for loving me enough to lay down Your life so I could be free. Help me live in the joy of Your salvation every day. In Your name, Amen.

JESUS IS THE CHRIST BECAUSE HE ROSE FROM DEATH; AN EMPTY TOMB IS THERE TO PROVE THIS FACT. His resurrection activated our victory over sin and death. And we have a divine assurance to everlasting life if we accept his salvation, seek his righteousness and keep the faith. Surely, we are more than conqueror.
