PREEMINENCE HOLDS 1ST MATRICULATION CEREMONY

Preeminence CHST recently held its 1st Matriculation Ceremony at its auditorium in Ikire, Osun State.

The programme commenced promptly at 9:00 a.m. with an opening prayer, committing the event into the hands of Almighty God. This was followed by the formal introduction of dignitaries by the Provost of the institution, including Dr. Akinwumi Tope and Dr. Akpan Nsukka, alongside other distinguished guests.

In his address, Dr. Akinwumi Tope encouraged the students to remain courageous and committed to their academic pursuits. He urged them to uphold the institution’s vision of excellence and strive for outstanding performance throughout their studies.

The Guest Speaker, Dr. Akpan Nsukka, delivered an inspiring lecture highlighting the essential qualities of a successful student, including discipline, moral integrity, dedication, good character, and a spirit of excellence.

The Registrar of the institution administered the matriculation oath to the students and encouraged them to embrace integrity, empathy, continuous hard work, and lifelong learning as they begin their academic journey. She emphasized that these values would serve as a solid foundation for impactful careers in the healthcare sector.

In his remarks, the Provost expressed profound appreciation to all stakeholders—management, staff, alumni, students, and parents—for their immense contributions to the success of the event. He congratulated the matriculating students on taking a bold step toward becoming future leaders and healthcare professionals. He further emphasized the critical role of education in modern healthcare, particularly in an era driven by digital transformation, and prayed that the students’ stay in the institution would be fruitful, impactful, and successful.

The ceremony concluded on a joyful note, as the newly admitted students were officially welcomed into a journey of academic excellence.
