Times are tough but don't give up, don't give in, at least try to stay alive to get through this season. There's still so much ahead that we haven't experienced yet.
If you feel like you're in over your head and you can't take it anymore, speak out, speak to someone, don't keep it in.
Just know this: no matter how strong the wind is, you can still soar!

Interesting disruptions to the educational and social space.
In light of this pandemic, the classroom as we know it has changed. It is no longer just a physical space, it's now virtual on the phone, tabs, TV, radio, internet, via social media, apps etc it's also in the home. All of these mediums aren't new but not everyone took them seriously.
Now the disruption happened fast, Some were ready for it, some are in the process and some others are not even equipped to get started.
Whatever point you are now in the educational journey, embrace your reality, start where you are and move forward as best as you can. Don't wait for things to return back to normal. You don't know when.

Education really starts from home and not just at school.
This lockdown or stay home period across many parts of the world, is an opportunity for families to spend time together, share realities and grow together.
May we all come out of this stronger.

Embarrassment is one of the emotions of self-consciousness and it's not necessarily a bad emotion. But when you get too hung up or overly conscious of being embarrassed that you don't want to try out something or speak up for fear of being embarrassed, it becomes a problem.
It means you will never really try some stuff that you may actually excel in even if you fail initially.
It means you will never really be enjoying who you are and exploring your gifts, skills & talents.
And the funny part is, not trying at all does not exonerate you from embarrassing situations.

If you work in schools encourage your school's parents to attend. When they understand effective discipline, they will support the work you do with their children.

As much as we should encourage and push our children for excellence in all areas, let's be real and face it that not all children will an A in their subjects.
