JAMB postpones slip
reprinting for 2015 UTME indefinitely

This is to announce to all JAMBites that the board has moved the date to begin
reprinting of photocard exam slips for the 2015 UTME until further notice.

This information is coming from a reliable staff of the board, who also disclosed that this year's photocard printing would be
done by only accredited CBT
registration centres and JAMB is trying to work out modalities for the smooth deployment of this
new system.

UTME 2015 Candidates will therefore be able to print out their exam slips from any
accredited CBT centres around their area. You need not go to the
centre where you registered for the exam.

The photocard contains vital
information to identify the candidate, as well as information
on the specific date, venue and time for the candidate's exam.

If you are a JAMB candidate, you need not waste your transport in visiting any centre today until the announcement of the commencement of the photocard printing has been made.

There is still time as JAMB has extended
the exam date until 9th March so there's no need to panic.

Keep studying and working hard and God will be by your side on the exam day.

COME TO COURT OR BE ARREST - CORONER TO TB JOSHUA

Komolafe on Wednesday said
TB Joshua is not above the law while reacting to the church’s counsel, Lateef Fagbemi’s suggestions as to
inviting those who can be of assistance from the SCOAN.

According to Vanguard report,
Komolafe who said if TB Joshua cannot come to court should give an explanation
stated:

“The court has the power to summon whoever it deems
necessary to assist it,” The counsel should advise the Prophet to come. The church
is not on trial. It’s not a matter of ego. Nobody is above the
law.
The court will be fair to all.“If he is an institution with
immunity, the court will not even go there. If the man
refuses to come, he can be arrested… He has to appear.
We summoned The Prophet.
We summoned the
contractors.”

On September 12 a guest house belonging to the
Synagogue church collapsed which killed no fewer than 115 people including 84
South Africans who were present at the time of the tragedy.

Following the collapse of the Synagogue guest house, several groups have called for
the arrest and trial of T.B Joshua.

Although the building
inspectors attributed the addition of extra floors to the
guesthouse, without
strengthening the
foundations, as the likely cause of the collapse.

Prophet TB Joshua as since reacted to the building collapse saying a low-flying
aircraft was responsible for the collapse, however saying:
“Hard times may test me, they cannot destroy me.” In few
weeks the truth behind the collapsed building will be
revealed”.

Proophet TB Joshua will testify at the inquest on November 5.

Lagos State Health Ministry says no Nigerian has been infected with Ebola virus

On Monday, 28 July, the Lagos State Government announced that 59 people residents of the state came in contact with Patrick Sawyer, the 40-year-old Liberian who died of Ebola virus in Lagos on Friday, 25 July.

Dr. Jide Idris, the Commissioner for Health, made this known in Ikeja, explaining that out of the 59 people are 44 health care workers and 15 other people at the Murtala Muhammed Airport,
Lagos.

Idris explained said the government has not been able to
ascertain the number of passengers on the Asky Airline plane the Liberian flew in with
into Nigeria because the management was yet to release the flight manifest.

He said, “So far, 59 contacts have been registered, consisting 44 hospital contacts (38 health care workers and six laboratory staff) and 15 airport contacts. The 15 airport contacts comprise three ECOWAS staff-driver, Liaison, and
Protocol Officer, Nigerian Ambassador to Monrovia, two
nursing staff and five airport passenger handlers. As of the
time of this report, 20 contacts had been physically screened of
which 50 per cent had type one contact and 50 per cent had had
type two contact.”

“Airline manifest has not been provided by the airline and
therefore the precise number of passenger contacts has yet to be
ascertained, especially as two flights were involved (Monrovia-
Lome and Lome-Lagos). There
was no report of medical incident and the General
Declaration report of the flight.”

The commissioner advised Nigerians not to panic confirming that nobody in the
country had been infected with the virus, and that state and the federal governments were
working to ensure that the virus did not infect anybody in the
country.

“We can categorically state that as of today, we have only one
case of imported Ebola and death. No Nigerian is infected,
but all contacts are being actively
followed.

“We call on all Nigerians to be calm and not panic. We assure them that both the state and the
Federal Government are up in arms to ensure that the virus did not escape and that no Nigeria is
infected with this virus.” he added.
