SIMPLE WAYS TO SHOW COURTESY

1. In case you miss a call, drop a message as soon as possible if you're unable to call back.

2. Pay back borrowed money as soon as possible no matter how little the amount is. Don't assume that they don't need it, and never make them ask you for it.

3. Turn the volume down when you're watching video, playing music or playing a game on your phone in a public place or, better
yet, use headphones.

4. Don't press your phone or use headphones when someone is having a conversation with you.
Unplug the headsets from your ears even if nothing is playing and give them your undivided attention.

5. When using someone else's phone or computer, don't go through their stuff without permission.

6. Always leave the last piece of meat for the person who bought it unless they insist they won't eat it.

7. Don't use loudspeaker of the phone to have a two person conversation unless you are unable to hold the phone.

8. When someone else cooks for you, offer to help clean the kitchen.

9. If you stay the night at someone's house, make the bed or fold the blankets when you leave.

10. Don't let your arguments escalate in public. Find some place else to continue arguing where others won't feel uncomfortable or interested.

11. If you ask your friends for help with some house work, feed them as payment.

12. When someone buys you food or coffee, try to return the favour within a week (if you can).

13. When you borrow someone's car, fill up the tank as a way of saying 'thank you.'

14. Don’t pick up a call while you are engaged in conversation without excusing yourself.

15. Make sure you don't forget to return that book you borrowed.

16. When someone gives you a gift, no matter how small it is or the way it was presented, even if it isn't up to your expectation, just say 'Thank You.'

17. When you have someone older than you who is friendly and makes himself free with you, speak to them with respect.

18. Don't feel too big to be corrected or reject good advice because you feel it's your life... Life is a ring; the next blow can come anytime.

19. When you receive messages on social media, try and reply. Don't feel too proud, maybe because you are a celebrity. Remember, no one knows tomorrow.

20. SHARE what you just read. DON'T STOP LEARNING.

*Dear Parents/Guardians*

The exams are over and school is almost out for the 2016 academic year.

Your children will bring reports home this week. I know you are all really anxious for your child to do well.

What's the meaning of "doing well?"

Please do remember, amongst the children who sat for the exams, is an Artist, who doesn't need to understand Maths.

There's an Entrepreneur, who doesn't care about History or English literature.

There's a Musician, whose Chemistry marks won't matter.

There's a Sportsperson, whose physical fitness is more important than Physics.

If your child does get top marks then great. But, if he or she doesn't, please don't take away their self- confidence and dignity from them.

Tell them it's ok, it was just an exam. They are cut out for much bigger things in life.

Tell them, no matter what they score, you love them and will not judge them.

Please do this and if you do, watch your children conquer the world. One exam or a 90% marks won't take away their dreams and talent.

And please do not think that doctors and engineers are the only happy people in the world.

Be happy for them when they come home with those reports this week. Encourage them to do better. Motivate those who were not successful. There's beauty in going back and giving it another shot. Don't judge them. They expect of you, their mother, their father, most of all to understand and to still believe in them.

Failing a grade can never make your children failures. Their destinies lie locked up in far greater things.

Mid-term break is over...... Hope you've all enjoyed ur holiday???

The late king of my community had ten wild dogs. He used them to torture and eat any of his servants who made a mistake. One of the servants gave an opinion which was wrong, and the king didn’t like it at all. So he ordered that the servant be thrown to the dogs.
The servant said, “I served you for ten years, and you do this to me? Please give me ten days before throwing me to those dogs!” The king agreed.
In those ten days, the servant went to the guard who looks after the dogs and told him he would like to serve the dogs for the next ten days. The guard was baffled but agreed, and the servant started feeding the dogs, cleaning for them, bathing them, and providing all sorts of comfort for them.
When the ten days were over, the king ordered that the servant be thrown to the dogs for his punishment. When he was thrown in, we were all amazed to see the ravenous dogs only licking the feet of the servant!
The king, baffled at what he was seeing, said,
”What has happened to my dogs?”
The servant replied, "I served the dogs for only ten days, and they didn’t forget my service. Yet I served you for a whole ten years and you forgot all, at my first mistake!"
The king realised his mistake and ordered the servant to be set free.
This post is a message to all those who forget the good things a person did for them as soon as the person makes a mistake towards them. Don’t put out the history that is filled with good because of a mistake you don’t like.

A professor asked his student
whether it was God who created

Student replied : Yes
He again asked : what about evil ?
Has God created evil also ? .
The student got silent....
Then the student requested that may
he ask a question for him ?

Professor allowed him to do so.
He asked : Does cold exist
Professor said : yes ! Dont u feel the cold
Student said : I'm sorry but u'r wrong
sir.
Cold is a complete absence of heat..
There is no cold, it is only an absence of
heat.

Student asked again : Does darkness
exist ?
Professor said : yes !
Student replied : u'r again wrong sir.
There is no such thing like darkness.
Its actually the absence of light. Sir ! We always study light & heat, but not cold
& darkness.
Similarly, the evil does not exist.
Actually it is the absence of love, faith &
true belief in God..

Never Mess with some Kids

A man was seated next to a kid in an airplane. The
man turned to him and said, "Let's talk".

Kid: Ok, what do we talk about ?
Man (making fun of the kid): How about nuclear power?

Kid: Very interesting topic. But let me ask you a
question...

Horse, cow & deer, all eat grass. Yet deer
excretes pellets, cow flat potty & horse clumps.
Why?

Man: umm I don't know.

Child: Do you really feel qualified enough to discuss
nuclear issues when you dont know s**t.
