Thompson Rivers University - Guaranteed Tuition Model Update!!!

Key Update:
TRU is introducing the Guaranteed Tuition Model for international students starting Fall 2025. This model ensures no tuition increases for the entire duration of a student's program plus an additional year.

Key Features:

Tuition Stability: The tuition rate will remain fixed for the entire intended program duration, plus one extra year. For example, a four-year bachelor’s degree will have a fixed tuition rate for up to five years.

Pay-per-Credit: Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate diploma programs will follow a pay-per-credit system at a rate of $849 CAD per credit for the academic year (September 2025 – June 2026).

Full-Time Requirement: International students must take at least three courses (9 credits) per semester to maintain full-time status.

Exempt Programs:
The Guaranteed Tuition Model does not apply to the following programs:

English for Academic Purposes

Graduate Diploma in Business Administration

Master of Business Administration

Master in Environmental Economics and Management

Master of Science in Environmental Economics and Management
