THOUGHTS ON TODAY'S VERSE
Jesus' entrance to earth is entirely and completely congruent with the LORD God revealed in the Old Testament. God is exalted and holy. God is just and majestic. Nonetheless, the LORD God is the God of Incarnation, the LORD who sees our plight, hears our pleas, and descends down to assist us. God adores individuals, especially those who come to him knowing they require his love and grace. God provides renewal that penetrates the spirit and heart to those who seek him with passion, humility, amazement, and reverence.
MY PRAYER
It is my sincere thanks to you, Holy and Righteous Father, for loving me and sending Jesus to rescue me. In humility, I ask you to strengthen your soul within me and enliven my heart and spirit in order that I may seek for your glory at this time in my life.In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

55 years of Eva Adelaja Girls Secondary Grammar School formerly Girls Secondary Grammar School Gbagada.
I remember No. 1 Odunlami Street Lagos where the Central library and NITEL is now that's where the CMS Grammar School was located and thats where we lived. I was born on the 19th March 1952 at Massey hospital delivered by the legendary Dr. Abimbola Awoliyi. Dad had a Hillman Minx LB 2108 with the trafficator dangling on the door beam. I remember the long staircase from the ground to the Principal living quarters up, the dinning arrangement in the passage way and the rooms by the same passage way. The classrooms and science labs behind the Principal's house and the relatively small play ground for the students. The school was directly opposite Doherty's house. Doherty was one of the most affluent Lagosians then. Everyone knew themselves, the environment the neighbourhood was immaculately clean, many people rode Raleigh bicycles. I wish there was video camera then. The Cathedral Church of Christ Marina was a walking distance and Sunday's were always spent at the Provosts Bishop Howells vicarage, I believe the holy spirit dwell in his premises then, the organ from the Cathedral Church belching out hymns from Songs of Praise never let us forget Sundays' the entire Marina what has been turned into a noisy and filthy taxi park today was serene and breezy, you stood next to the Lagos lagoon with the coconut trees. The Race Course was alive weekends with horse racing activities, peace and love written all over peoples faces. That was my Lagos, the Lagos I grew up in. Today its Lagos of thieves and robbers of hard looking drug ravaged souls ready to take advantage of you at the slightest show of weakness. People have come from different places to make Lagos their home in the name of Nigeria. Lagos Island should have been a different country where you'd need a valid visa to enter.
