NAIS scholarship examination: A beacon of hope for the future generations🔥🔥🔥
On December 18, 2023, the NAIS Scholarship Final Examination was held at Baptist Primary Igbope. The examination consisted of multiple-choice questions, covering a wide range of subjects, including mathematics, English, and General knowledge. A total of twenty-two (22) students took the exam, including ten SS3 students and three students each from the junior classes category (Jss2, Jss3,Ss1, Ss2 2 respectively) who had qualified for the final stage of the competition. The SS3 students had worked hard to reach this point, and the junior students had also shown great dedication and determination. The atmosphere was tense and the pressure was high, but all the students were focused on doing their best.
Prior to the start of the exam, a group of distinguished guests arrived at the venue to show their support for the students. This included the Vice Chairman of the Orelope Local Government, Hon. Prince Atoyebi Ebenezer Durodola, He was joined by Hon. Iroko AbdulAzeez, former Vice President of the association, Mr. Aderinto Ebenezer, former Secretary of the association, Mr. Adeleke Mutiu Kayode (IGWE), Mr. Aborisade Soji, and Mr. Ademola Shadrach Opeyemi. The guests took the time to greet the students and offer them words of encouragement, wishing them luck and success in the exam. The presence of these important guests was reassuring to the students, who felt a sense of pride and significance knowing that their work was being observed by respected members of the community.
With a wave of relief, the students filed out of the exam hall and gathered outside to wait for the results. There was a buzz of nervous energy as they waited, each one hoping that they had done well enough to be selected for the scholarship. They chatted about the exam, comparing their experiences and their answers to the various questions. Despite the anxiety, there was also a sense of camaraderie, as they had all shared in this experience together. Some stood in groups, while others sat quietly, lost in their own thoughts. The air was heavy with anticipation, and no one knew what the results would bring.
As the NAIS scholarship committee gathered to announce the winners of the Examination, with President Comr. Amodu Muhammed Àmì and stakeholder Aborisade Soji presiding over the event. The tension in the room was palpable as the committee was about to announce the results of the exam. The students, their families, and their well-wishers were all gathered, eager to hear the outcome. There was a sense of anticipation and anxiety, with many wondering who would be named the top scorer.
With great pride and honor, the President and the stakeholder announced the top three scorers in the SS3 category: Odejide Rufus (first place), Odenibi Enoch (second place), and Oyedokun Jethro (third place). Special recognition was given to Odejide Rufus for his stellar performance, breaking the record set by previous winners and achieving a score above 75%.
The celebration continued as the top scorers in the junior categories were also announced. The results were as follows:

Following the announcement of the top scorers,the President Comr Amodu Muhammed Àmì went on to commend all the students who had taken the exam, regardless of their scores. He emphasized the importance of perseverance and dedication to learning, and reminded the students that their efforts were what truly mattered, regardless of the outcome. The President, in his speech to the students, urged them to continue to strive for excellence, noting that this was just the beginning of their journey. He emphasized the importance of learning from one's mistakes and highlighted some common pitfalls that students had made in the examination. He also encouraged the junior category students to continue working hard and improving their skills so that they could compete at the same level as the older students in the future.
He went on to express his deepest gratitude to the sponsors for their generous support, which made the scholarship examination possible. He specifically thanked the Vice President, Comr. Aderoju Taofiqat, the Treasurer, Isiaq Taofikat, the Auditor, Alabi Sangodare, Aisha Adewoyin AGS and other executive committee members for their hard work and dedication. He also commended the gallant members of the association who had worked tirelessly to make the examination a success. Without the support of these individuals, the scholarship examination would not have been possible.
With the support of our generous sponsors and the commitment of all NAISites, the President noted that the NAIS scholarship examination is now a permanent fixture, and would continue to grow and improve in the years to come. He encouraged everyone involved to continue to work together to ensure the success of future examinations. With a strong foundation in place, the NAIS scholarship examination would provide a valuable opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills, and pursue their dreams of a better future. With this vision in mind, the President closed his remarks with a sense of hope and excitement for the future.
