More than just a timepiece, this wall clock is a testament to sustainable creativity from our Art Club. We repurposed ordinary packing cartons, transforming discarded cardboard into a whimsical, three-dimensional masterpiece. Through careful cutting, layering, and vibrant painting, we gave these humble materials a new lease on life, proving that art can bloom from the most unexpected places. Every groove and texture of the carton adds unique character to the design.

This clock is a bold statement on recycling, reminding our school that with a little imagination, even waste can tell a beautiful, timely story..

A leadership seminar was organized today, 19th May 2026, for the newly appointed school functionaries of Holy Family Secondary School, Igboukwu, in Aguata LGA. The event aimed to equip young leaders with essential managerial skills. Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Ezeibe, CSSp, facilitated the session with a thought-provoking lecture titled, “Leadership: The Soul of Individual and Institutional Survival.”

Fr. Ezeibe highlighted key qualities of a good leader: vision (seeing where the institution should be), integrity, decisiveness, accountability and high standards, flexibility, listening and communication, empathy, and courage. He urged the functionaries to embrace these virtues as the foundation of effective leadership.

The school manager, Rev. Fr. Collins Ezeanuna, expressed deep appreciation to Fr. Ezeibe for his impactful delivery. Similarly, the Dean of Student Affairs, Mrs. Ifenyinwa Arinze, commended the facilitator for his practical insights. In a warm closing, the Senior Prefect, Ike Chioma, gave the vote of thanks and presented a token of appreciation on behalf of all functionaries and the school. The seminar ended with a renewed commitment from the young leaders to apply these principles for the school’s continued growth and harmony.
