🏳🏴 *INAUGURATION OF S.U.G JUDGES*

The judiciary being the third organ of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University's Students union government, headed by His Lordship Okoye Ifeanyi McPherson, herein after referred to as the *"COOU SUG Judiciary"*, in its pivotal responsibility of administering justice according to law, will today be officially inaugurated by the amiable University's Vice Chancellor, Prof Greg Nwakoby, flanked by the Dean Faculty Of Student Affairs, Dean of Law Faculty and other university's heavy weight.

This ceremony which invites all the Executives, Legislators, Judges of all LAWSA courts, counsel of different chambers and all students at large, shall mark the commencement of Judiciary actitives of all levels of the SUG Courts: assuring the student's democratic way of life, upholding peace, order and good government.

Students are charged to approach the SUG judiciary to uphold their rights and the SUG government to these courts to interpret laws.

"APPOINTMENT OF SUG JUDGES"

The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Students' Union Government, herein after referred to as the "COOU SUG" in its inherent structure is comprised of three different tiers of government namely; the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary.

The COOU SUG may be said to have effectuated so much eminently , which it's counterparts ordinarily aspire to glom onto, however at the instance of the new Judiciary administration, lead by His Lordship Okoye Ifeanyi McPherson, a budding judicial heavy weight, with the mandate to ensure a proper check and balance in the running of the Union's affairs.

The SUG judiciary on his shoulders like the Judiciary in any system of government, has the responsibility of ensuring adherence of the rule of law and due process, which is the essential for equity, fairness and justice.

In other to swiftly dispense justice without prejudice, and judgments that would sustain the existing peace in the University, and eschew delayed or denied justice, His Lordship thus appoints the different justices of the SUG High Court, Appeal and Supreme courts as follows;

As the appointees await their inauguration, which shall be communicated in due time, the SUG Chief Justice His Lordship Justice Okoye, charges all appointees to bring their best on board, to complement the existing peace in the University, by avoiding any act of favouritism, nepotism and selfishness while dispensing justice.
