We are thrilled to announce that Hunsu Oreoluwa Deborah has been appointed as the Garri Brand Ambassador for the 2024/2025 edition of The African Food & Drinks Festival—Garri Day. Her hard work, dedication, and involvement in the community have been instrumental in helping our festival achieve its objectives.

We are pleased to welcome her on board as the ambassador for this exceptional event, which celebrates Nigerian-African food culture and promotes unity within the community using Garri.

The festival is organized by the Alimosho Arts Community Initiative in partnership with the University of Kulture and Theatre Centrik, and will take place in Lagos, Nigeria.

Garri Day features food, dance, drumming, music, and drama to showcase the best African cuisine with food exhibitions from different African countries.

This African festival is a melting pot of flavors, aromas, and textures that will take you on a culinary journey through Africa.

We want to extend an invitation and announcement for the 2024 half-year events outline.

We are excited to bring you "Let’s Talk Theatre & Health Matters" to celebrate World Theatre Day 2024.

The event will take place on March 26th, 2024, and will be a virtual experience accessible through the Alimosho Arts Community Initiatives & University of Kulture Whatsapp platform.

Our special guest for the event is Mr. Fasuyi Seyi FTA, a seasoned arts practitioner with 30 years of experience specializing in advocacy through various arts platforms.

He is the CEO of Mind Katalist Initiatives (MKI), a former Chairman of NANTAP Lagos Chapter, and a Fellow of Theatre Arts (FTA). He is also the Senior Programs Manager at New Generation Change Education Foundation—NGCEF and the Resident Director/Projects Coordinator at Ajasiwon Koncepts.

Mazi ('Dr) Sam Uche Anyamele, B.Sc Ed, PGD, M.Ed, M.Sc (Ed), (Ph.D, Honori Causa, USA) will also be joining us as a special guest.

Additionally, we have Favour Cyracus, an Arts Ambassador, actor, dancer, chef, and content creator.
