PROFESSOR ANDREW OFUDJE ASSUMES OFFICE AS NEW DEAN OF THE SCHOOL OF POSTGRADUATE STUDIES
The School of Postgraduate Studies, Mountain Top University (MTU), has appointed Professor Andrew Ofudje as its new Dean, following the elevation of the former Dean, Professor Gabriel Ajayi, to the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University. The appointment, which took effect in 1st of August 2026, marks a new chapter in the administration of the School as it continues to strengthen postgraduate education, advance research, and enhance the academic experience of postgraduate students and researchers.

MOUNTAIN TOP UNIVERSITY COMMISSIONS ELIZABETH OLUKOYA CENTRE FOR FINE AND APPLIED ARTS
Mountain Top University (MTU) has commissioned the Elizabeth Olukoya Centre for Fine and Applied Arts, a landmark three-storey facility established in honour of Dr Folashade Olukoya, wife of the University's Founder and Chancellor, Dr D. K. Olukoya. The commissioning ceremony, held on Monday, 10 August 2026, marked the completion of a four-year development project.

The School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS), Mountain Top University, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, hosted its highly impactful Annual Lecture, bringing together eminent scholars, researchers, and postgraduate students for a thought provoking intellectual engagement focused on the future direction of postgraduate education in Nigeria. The annual academic gathering, which served as a platform for critical reflection, examined the evolving landscape of postgraduate education and addressed the pressing challenges affecting research development, academic quality, innovation, and societal impact within Nigeria’s higher education system.
