Nothing truly prepares one for these parts of motherhood.

✓ Eating kids' leftovers without thinking
twice.
✓ Sucking out catarrh from their tiny
nostrils.
✓ Being a full-time target of their sneezes
and coughs like it's nothing 😅.

Motherhood will really humble you. It's the ultimate "never-say-never " experience.

What are your "never-say-never" experiences?

One day, your child will remember how you raised them.

Not how expensive their clothes were.
Not how many toys you bought.

But how you spoke to them.
How you handled their mistakes.
How safe they felt around you.

Did they feel heard or silenced?
Guided or constantly judged?

Because long after childhood is gone,
Your voice becomes the one in their head.

So speak with wisdom.
Correct with love.
Show up with patience.

You’re not just raising a child,
You’re shaping a future adult.

First pregnancy vs being pregnant with a toddler.
Two completely different worlds 😅

First pregnancy:
You rest when you’re tired 😌
You nap anytime 🛌
You enjoy the kicks peacefully 🤍

Second pregnancy (with a toddler):
“Mummy come!” every 2 minutes 😩
No proper rest
You’re carrying one baby and chasing another 😂

Nobody warned me that pregnancy would feel like a full-time job the second time around 😭

Mums, which one are you in right now?
Or if you have passed these stages, which one did you enjoy the most?

First pregnancy or pregnancy with a toddler? 😅👇

I once saw a mum laughing at another parent because her child was “more behaved” and “smarter.”

Life has a way of teaching humility,
Because raising children isn’t a competition and there’s no perfect manual.

The truth? No one is a master at it. Only God is.
If your child is thriving, be grateful and not proud.

It’s not by power or parenting style alone,
It’s by grace.
And every parent needs that grace at some point.

Be kind to other parents 🤍

What you refuse to correct at age 3 may become your biggest headache at age 23.

It sounds harsh, but it’s the truth.
At age 3, it looks small.
A stubborn “No,”
A little act of disrespect,
A habit you laugh off and call “cute.”

You tell yourself, “They will outgrow it.”
But children don’t outgrow what is left unaddressed. They grow into it.

That little attitude?
It matures.
That behavior you ignore?
It strengthens.
That boundary you failed to set?
It disappears completely.

And one day, you’re not dealing with a toddler anymore, you’re facing a grown adult who never learned limits, respect, or responsibility.

Raising children isn’t just about love and providing their needs.
It’s about guidance, correction, and consistency.

Correct with love.
Teach with patience.
Set boundaries with wisdom.
Because discipline is not punishment.
It’s preparation for life.

Start early. Stay consistent.
The seeds you plant now will become the character you see later.

All of these won't matter if you don't care about what people say.

Do what works for you, your kids, and your family.

Being a mom is googling a tiny cough your child has at 2 a.m. and convincing yourself it’s either Pneumonia, a rare tropical disease, or it's totally fine.

Half the night, you spend it overthinking symptoms, while the other half convincing yourself you’re a terrible parent for worrying too much.

By dawn, your kid is perfectly fine and you’re still exhausted.

Can you relate to this?

There are some words my son refuses to pronounce correctly 😅

Kitchen as Chicken
Handkerchief as Handkerfish.

I honestly don’t even correct him immediately because it sounds too cute and funny.

The confidence he uses to say it makes me laugh every time.😀

Children and their pronunciation ehn…This is one of the cutest stages of parenting.

What funny word does your child pronounce wrongly?
I want to laugh a little today.

Effective discipline is not about control, shouting or punishment.

It’s about raising children who understand right from wrong and teaching them what to do better next time, even when you are not there.

A child who is always shouted at may learn fear, but a child who is guided with patience learns understanding.

Do you believe in strict discipline or gentle teaching?

Imagine walking into the kitchen and seeing a whole crate of eggs broken on the floor, and your child is standing there quietly looking at you.

What would be your first reaction?
Anger?
Silence?
Laughter?
Or a deep breath?
