Abdullah ibn Umar reported:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, *“Every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. The leader of people is a guardian and is responsible for his subjects. A man is the guardian of his family and he is responsible for them. A woman is the guardian of her husband’s home and his children and she is responsible for them. The servant of a man is a guardian of the property of his master and he is responsible for it. No doubt, every one of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock.”*

O Succesful Muslim Woman,
When the religion of Islām came with these rulings specific to the woman, such as the hijāb, modesty, remaining in the home, warning from intermingling [with men], and other than that from what will be presented, it came as a protection for the woman, to guard her, and to protect her nobleness and status; it likewise came to protect her from evil and corruption, so that she may adorn herself by way of these guidelines with purity and chastity.
A woman in the scales of Islām is a precious pearl and a valuable gem to be protected from everything harmful and defended from every form of despicableness.
How great are the rulings of our religion; how lofty a status do they occupy, how great are their
blessings, and how many are their fruits for the one whom Allāh gives success to adhere to them.

Giving Charity on Fridays
● Ka'b al-Ahbar (rahimahullah) said:
The sun has neither risen nor set on a day greater than the day of Friday,
and charity given on it is greater than on other days.
[Sahih Musannaf of 'Abd al-Razzaq (rahimahullah), 5558]
● al-A‘mash narrated from Mujahid, from ‘Abdullah ibn Damrah,
from Ka‘b (rahimahumullah) who said:
Charity is multiplied on Friday.
[Musannaf ibn Abi Shaybah, 2/57, no. 6, Maktabah Islamiyyah]
● Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said:
Giving charity on Friday has a special merit compared to other days,
just as giving charity during the month of Ramadan has a higher merit compared to the rest of the year.
I witnessed Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah)
when he would go out for Jumuaah,
he would take whatever he found at home—be it bread or anything else—and give it as charity in secret on his way.
I heard him say:
“If Allah commanded us to give charity before consulting with the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) (58:12),
then giving charity before consulting with Allah is even more virtuous and deserving of merit.”
[Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah), Zaad al-Maad, 1/399]
● Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said:
If the one giving charity
knew
that his charity landed in the Hand of Allah,
before the hand of the poor person,
the pleasure of the giver would be greater than the pleasure of the receiver.
[Ibn ul-Qayyim (rahimahullah), paraphrased from al-Wabil al-Sayyib, al-Madarij as-Salikeen, 1/26]
Abu Huraira (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) reported Allah's Messenger (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) as saying:
No one gives sadaqah (charity) of a date out of his honest earning, except that Allah accepts it with His Right Hand, and then fosters it as one of you fosters the c**t or a young she-camel, till it becomes like a mountain or even greater.
[Sahih Muslim, 1014b, Book 12, Hadith 80]
Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said:
“Charity (sadaqah) reaches (lit. falls into) the Hand of Allah before it falls into the hand of the one who asks for it.” (i.e., Allah Ta’ala accepts it), he (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) then recited the Verse:
{(Do they not know that Allah) accepts repentance from His servants and takes their charities”} — Surah Tawbah, 9:104
[Tafsir at-Tabari (rahimahullah); Jami’ul Bayan, Surah Tawbah, Verse: 104, vol. 11, pg. 666, see also: Majma az-Zawaid, vol. 3, pg. 111, Hadith: 4677]
Abu Hurairah (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) narrated that :
the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
"Indeed Allah accepts charity, and He accepts it with His Right (Hand) to nurture it for one of you, just like one of you would nurture his foal, until the bite (of food) becomes as large as Uhud."
[Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 662, Chapter 28: What Has Been Related About the Virtue of Charity, Graded: Hasan Sahih]
Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyAllahu ‘anhu):
"Indeed, charity* (sadaqah) reaches (lit. falls into) the Hand of Allah before it reaches the hand of the one who asks,"
then he recited:
{And He it is Who accepts repentance* from His servants} — ash-Shura: 25, the verse.

Allah's names Al-Azeez, Al-Jabbar, Al-Mutakabbir, Al-Qahhar, Al-Qawwi, and Al-Mateen
The author, may Allah have mercy on him, mentions six names from the names of our Lord: (Al-Azeez (The All-Glorious), Al-Jabbar (The Compeller), Al-Mutakabbir (The Supreme), Al-Qahhar (The Subduer), Al-Qawwi (The All-Powerful), and Al-Mateen (The Almighty).
He explains the first of them Al-Azeez, who encompasses all the meanings of glory. Glory is all for Allah, and these meanings can be traced back to three aspects, which the author differentiates into:
– The first: the glory of power ('izzatu quwwa)
– The second: the glory of dignity ('izzatu imtina’)
– The third: the glory of subjugation ('izzatu qahr)
🔘 The glory of power refers to the meanings of Al-Qawwi and Al-Mateen. The difference between them is that Al-Mateen encompasses vast power, so it includes an additional meaning beyond just describing Him as powerful, as Al-Qawwi entails affirming His attribute of power, whereas Al-Mateen refers to the vastness of this power.
This also helps differentiate between His name Al-Mateen and His other name Al-Wasi’, both indicate vastness, but Al-Mateen combines the indication of vastness with the indication of the power of Allah.
🔘 The glory of dignity is explained as, Allah desisting from being overcome by anyone or any of his creations having power over Him, to harm or to benefit. It refers to the meaning of Al-Mutakabbir as it indicates the perfection of greatness and the ultimate pride.
🔘 And the third aspect which is the glory of subjugation is referred to by the name Al-Qahhar, for Allah is the one who subjugates His creation with His power, and all creatures submit to Him. His is their possession, administration, control and sustenance; and they have no escape from His authority.
The glory of subjugation is also one of the meanings of Al-Jabbar. The author mentions that Allah's compulsion (jabr) is of three types: Compulsion of subjugation (qahr), exaltedness ('uluw), and gentleness (lutf).
- The compulsion of subjugation is His dominance and control over all creation.
- The compulsion of exaltedness is His rising above the Throne and encompassing sovereignty.
- The compulsion of gentleness is His acts of kindness, mercy, and compassion towards His creation by mending the broken, enriching the poor, restoring the lost, and other similar actions.

It’s been a while here!
How have you all been doing?
Oppression may hide for a time, but Allah’s justice never sleeps. 🌙
This timeless poem reminds us of patience, truth, and the certainty of Allah’s recompense.
May Allah make us people of justice and keep us firm upon truth. 🤲✨
📖 Poetry by: ʿAbd al-Qayyūm ʿAbd al-Ghaniyy Ibrāhīm”
You wronged me with a wrong that no excuse could justify,
And you began to claim that what they did was the truth.
You veiled my right—though in existence I see it plain,
And how can an eye be veiled when it has no substitute?
If you conceal yourself, surely Allah is ever watching,
And He will one day reveal the truth when gatherings assemble.
So be patient, for Allah’s recompense is always just,
One day the oppressed shall see what they had done.
You wronged me with the wrong of one who transgresses blindly,
And you claimed that truth itself was something they resented.
The rights of my soul became stolen and wasted away—
I am a witness, though others wrote the record down.
You blocked my striving, overcame me with your power,
How then can the oppressed be safe when barriers surround them?
If you hide yourself, my Lord never lets guidance fail—
Allah knows what lies within the hearts, though they may conceal it.
He veils what is beautiful, yet shows the truth in its time,
Until He raises a proof through the deeds of those who act.
The Almighty King never wrongs in what He decrees,
Rather, He seizes the plotters, and then separates them.
So be patient, for Allah’s reward is ever continuous,
On that great Day when witnesses will be brought forth.
The souls whose rights were taken shall be restored,
And the veil will be lifted from what was hidden and withdrawn.
Then people will know, on the Day of Gathering, who has lost,
And how, after their tyranny, they were drowned in ignorance.
Indeed, justice is the light of Allah at the beginning,
It shows His servants the paths of piety and righteousness.
The reward of those who act with justice among creation is forgiveness,
And justice, with the Lord of the Throne, is never denied.
But oppression remains a darkness cast upon the hearts, O brother,
None perceives its evil save the one of sound reason.
Blessings of my Lord be upon the Chosen, the crown of guidance,
And upon his radiant family who walked the path of justice.
