It was an educative and exciting celebration as we proudly showcased the richness of the Yoruba culture. Today, our students learned a lot about the history of the Yoruba people — from the story of Oduduwa to the growth and heritage of the great Ibadan kingdom.

We explored the meanings behind Yoruba identity, how the Yoruba people were formed, and the values that make our culture unique and honorable.

It was more than a celebration — it was a moment of learning, pride, and cultural awakening.

Today is the long-awaited Zion Cultural Day Celebration, and we are excited to welcome everyone to a day filled with culture, learning, and celebration.

This special event is taking place today, Friday 6th March 2026, within the school premises. It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to proudly showcase the beauty of our culture, traditions, and heritage.

⚠️ Please take note:
There will be NO SCHOOL UNIFORM today.

✅ All students are expected to come dressed in decent and beautiful native attire that represents our rich cultural background.

Throughout the day, students will participate in exciting activities such as:
• Cultural songs
• Drama presentations
• Cultural displays
• Traditional performances

This celebration will help our students to:
• Appreciate their cultural roots
• Build confidence in public presentation
• Express creativity and talent
• Learn the value of culture and identity
