If You Live In Your Future!


About 11 years ago or there about, I was a medical school undergraduate.


I had just finished my 2nd MBBS exams. That's the most important exam in med school. Usually takes place at the end of the 3rd year.


It is a bridge one must cross. Before one graduates from dealing with human cadaver (dead body) and the suffocating smell of the preservative - formalin - and start dealing with living human beings.


So about 12 years ago, I failed in my first attempt at the all important exam. I had to undertake a 2nd missionary journey a year later. And I had one more chance to do so.


Was I sad? Yes. Maybe even depressed.


I gave the preparation my all. And I passed in my second attempt the next year.


During that period, there were backlogs of students. So we had things like class 4a and 4b. 4a was made up of students who were already in 4th year in the clinics.


4b was made up of people like us who just passed the exams but had to wait in enforced holiday for 4a to create space for us. Resources were limited to cater for two classes in one session.


During this holiday period, I was in my parents' house chilling. Full of excitement and anticipation of the new level in medical school. The new texts, the great professors we heard so much about while on the other side of the pre-clinics...


Now we would become parts and parcels of that experience. As soon as we were called back to school.


In the midst of the euphoria, I had an early morning dream one day. I sat for the repeat 2nd MBBS exams and I failed again. This time I would have to leave medical school and look for something else to do with my life.


When I woke up, alas, it was a dream!


What did I do? I laughed out loud and hard!


Yes I laughed at the source of the dream. Those village people or whoever they were, came too late to the party.


How could I fail an exam I already passed? 'Impossicant!'


You see, I was already living in the future and reality of having passed the exams. So the then present situation of that 'devilish' dream had no hold on me.


That singular experience taught me a very powerful principle that has changed my life forever. I've never taken my eyes off the far reaching implications of this principle.


In a nutshell, this principle states:


If you live in your future, your present - challenges - cannot hurt you. The dead don't bite!

This is life's way of teaching us wisdom! There's always room for improvement. The largest room in the universe!


This is how we must treat every success. Celebrate it if you must. But move on because you must.


When past successes become our place of rest, we give up on the best that is yet to come.


Therefore keep moving. Let yesterday's success become your investment seed for tomorrow's greatness.

The Telescope.


From the psycho-spiritual viewpoint, to think is to eat.


Whenever we think on noble things, things in harmonious alignment with the Truths of God's Word, we feed on life - the God-Life! This is the true life.


A woman who consistently feeds on this Life, though she may appear to be dying in any other aspect of her existence, is on her way to the victorious life.


Philippians 4:8 KJV
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, THINK ON THESE THINGS.


On the contrary, when we let our minds wander to the ends of the earth, on ignoble themes, things that are out of alignment with the Kingdom of God, we feed on death! This is the true death.


A man who unwaveringly feeds on this death, though he might appear to be living in any other aspects of his existence, is on his way to death.


Proverbs 23:7 KJV
For as he thinketh in his heart, SO IS HE.


Eventually, what we feed on continually becomes our ultimate reality.


Thus a man or woman is not alive because of the appearance of their present condition. It's just an appearance, not the reality.


If you want to know a successful man, do not look at where he is, but look at where he is going.


In the same vein, if you want to know a living or a dead man, do not look at his immediate condition, but look at his ultimate destination.


There is no instrument more reliable for the visualisation of one's ultimate destination in this life, and beyond, than the telescope of one's predominant thoughts.


As the telescope sees further than normal, to the ends of the earth, so does a person's thought see their endpoint. It's predictive value has zero error margin.


The words may lie. The actions will inevitably mask the truth about one. The thoughts don't. They reveal what is hidden beneath the surface.


The thought predicts the destination, and does so accurately. But what predicts the thought, since it is hidden, sometimes, even to the one who thinks them?


To this puzzle, I respond thus: the answer lies within the gates to the soul.


You see, whatever goes through the mouth, ends up in the bowels. In the same vein, whatever goes through the soul gates of the five senses, ends up in the mind.


These are the building blocks of thoughts. Ultimately, what we see and what we hear. The eyes, the ears!


An empire will rise or fall, on the quality of men and women who walk through its gates, and are thus found within it's walls.


In the same way, thoughts are generated from the information that pass through the eye gates, ear gates, and other gates of the soul. The quality of these information determines the quality of our thoughts.


And needless to say that the quality of our thoughts then determines the quality of our destiny or destination, if you wish.


On this note, I dare to ask you: based on your thought pattern, where are you going? What is your ultimate destination, in this life and beyond?


Think about what you are thinking about.

Time is a Divine gift for preparation and chance is the opportunity for promotion.


Time is the equal initial Divine investment in all of us. No one has more or less of it...


Irrespective of geographic location or societal status, we all have 24 hours of it per day.


The depth of your preparation in time determines the height of your manifestation when chances beckon!


A time used in preparation for opportunities, is a time well spent.


Are you spending time or are you wasting it? Only time will tell. And opportunities will confirm which you are doing.

If you pursue the spectacular (Supernatural acts of the Spirit) at the expense of the subtle (Supernatural fruit of the Spirit), when you attain the global stage of influence and relevance, your moral bankruptcy will bring you down (and cause you to crash) with a great tod!


Therefore, child of God, know thyself...


Young firebrand, pursue character...


Kill 'your' demons! Now that you are unknown. For they will grill you when you have arrived.


The devil does not spare those who serve him. How much more will he not spare those who serve God? Selah!


What do you think the Lord Jesus was doing in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights?


Yes He was fasting and praying. But what was He really doing?


No! He was not praying for power to fulfill ministry. He was not asking for Supernatural dimensions and Realms!


He was already the embodiment of Supernatural power and dimensions, even at age 12... Even at conception.


So what was Jesus doing for 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness without food and drink?


He was killing His 'demons'.


He was catching the little foxes that spoil the vineyard and judging them by fire!


Jesus was mastering His own appetite for the three demons that pull down great men.


He mastered His hunger for Gold (finance).


He conquered His appetite for Glory (fame).


And He overcame His craving for Girls (females).


This was what Jesus did with His time in the wilderness before His ministry began. Read Matthew chapter 4 again and you would see it.


There are battles you can't win on the pulpit or market place of ministry. You must first win in your secret place where and when you've got nothing to lose.


𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲?


Look at the Lord Jesus again...


Of all that His detractors and critics accused Him of, sexual immorality and financial embezzlement were not featured in the picture.


The only time He was accused of vain glory, it was Inspired by jealousy in the Pharisees...


They were losing their followers to Him in their thousands!


𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲. 𝗛𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲.


Look at Jesus and kill your demons now!

Young believer, you have a destiny in God and in this world.


If you don't know where you are going, then let me tell you. It is a great destination!


You have an enviable destiny.

Business Solutions: The Principle Of Determination


In life, there will always be oppositions!


Oppositions are necessary for growth in all expressions of life - plant or animal.


The seed does not become a tree until it's tender stem has broken through the opposition of the ground...


Neither will that business or brand of yours break forth until it has broken through the oppositions and challenges that face all ventures - both the public and peculiar oppositions.


You have to keep firing in life and purpose with determation.


Determination defies oppositions!


Stay on your dreams and aspirations... Keep track of the actions that would get you closer to your ultimate destination.


Without actions, manifestation is not in view. And where there is no movement, there are no achievements!


Keep firing on all cylinders, so long as you are convinced of the path you have chosen to reach your goals.


Many people who fail in business do, not because they are in the wrong business but because they have not done that one business long enough.


They break the law of time factor...


This is responsible for many failures in life and business.


Furthermore, it takes determination to obey this law of time factor.


It takes determination to stay persistent until all resistances to your success are worn out.


Don't jump from one business to another. Stay on one thing until it yields it's fruit.


Then you can expand it to accommodate other expressions.


This is called transitioning. Don't engage it if your enterprise is not ready.


Did you know that the world renowned electronics brand, Samsung, started as a grocery trading store?


The first product of the company was noodles... Yes you heard right. Indomie!


But today, Samsung is one of the leading brands (all over the world) in electronics and smartphones, amongst others.


What happened?


Time happened. And in that time, the company grew.


Lee Byung-Chull founded the company in Taegu, Korea on 1st March 1938.


That's over eight decades ago. 81 years to be precise!


Today, the Samsung brand also has an undeniable and intimidating presence in other industries like textile and aerospace industries. Other interests include home appliances, semiconductor manufacturing and so on.


The Samsung brand is an elder amongst business brands. 81 years is not beans.


How long have you been in that business? You have already concluded it's not working.


No it's you who is not working it...


You don't give a 25 litre gallon of water to a 2 year old. You will break him.


You start with a cup of water and grow him from there.


You don't give differentiation and integration problems to a primary school child. You will crush her under the mathematical weight!


You start with simple algebra and groom her from there.


You get the drift?


Your business is yet to master your specific industry, but you are already thinking of quitting or bringing in other unrelated industries. You go wound oh! Lol.


In fact, you have no moral or intellectual justification to quit on any business you have not consistently given your best to for at least 7 years.


Other experts say 5 years. But I say 7. Give a 2 year error margin to yourself.


Besides, if you also subscribe to spirituality like me, 7 is a spiritually significant number. It's the number of perfection.


Stay determined in your pursuit. Resist the distractions of other potentially lucrative industries. Stay on this one until it yields it's fruits.


For where determination is predominant, failure cannot dismantle the flag of success.
