Valentine’s Day Celebration

Distinguished parents and guardians,
The Head of School and dedicated teachers,
And my dear learners,

Good morning to you all.

Today, we gather to celebrate Valentine’s Day — a day widely known for expressions of love. However, at Rehoboth Glorious Heritage Academy, we choose to celebrate love in its purest and most meaningful form.
Love is not merely about gifts or emotions.
Love is responsibility.
Love is discipline.
Love is respect.
True love builds; it does not destroy. True love protects; it does not pressure. True love waits; it does not rush.

To our dear learners, especially our adolescents, I speak to you as a parent and as the proprietor of this noble institution: you are precious, you are valuable, and your future is bright. Do not allow temporary feelings or peer pressure to lead you into decisions that may affect your destiny.
Sexual purity is not outdated. It is a sign of strength and wisdom. Protecting your body and your character is an act of self-respect. There is a proper time for everything in life. For now, your focus should be on your education, your growth, and your purpose.

To our parents and guardians, thank you for entrusting your children into our care. The home and the school must work together in nurturing children who are not only academically excellent but morally sound. We encourage you to continue having open, value-based conversations with your children. When guidance from home aligns with guidance from school, our children stand on a strong foundation.

To our teachers, we deeply appreciate your dedication. Teaching goes beyond academics; it involves mentoring, guiding, correcting, and inspiring. Your daily commitment is an expression of love in action.

As we celebrate today, let this be a reminder that love must always be guided by wisdom, purity, and responsibility. Let's raise a generation that values self-control Godly character.
