In context, events could be parties, seminars, corporate events, institutional programs (e.g. convocations, matriculations, vocational training graduations, etc.); coronations, dinners, anniversaries and things that generically involve gatherings of people.

Usually, planning for an event is not usually a very easy task. You have to profile your guests, look for a suitable location and probably also timing and other things that are require to put up a standard event.
The next issue is usually refreshments. Yes, you can always get a caterer to handle the preparation of the meals that you may have suggested for your guests. When the food is sorted, the drinks now become an issue.
