Memorizing the Qur’an helps protect Allah’s words from being lost or changed. It has been preserved through memorization since the time of the Prophet ﷺ.

Those who memorize the Qur’an receive great rewards in this life and in the Hereafter. The Qur’an will intercede for its memorizer on the Day of Judgment.
3. High Status in the Hereafter
A memorizer of the Qur’an will be raised in rank in Paradise according to how much of the Qur’an they memorized.

The parents of a person who memorizes the Qur’an will be honored on the Day of Judgment because of their child’s effort.
