What an incredible journey!

First, I’d like to thank Almighty God for being God. I’m grateful to you all for your love and kindness. Thanks to each and every one of you for believing in what we do , supporting our work and most especially supporting handmade.

It’s been countless of late nights, weekends trying new designs and so on. We have worked on thousands of asooke and creating next generation of weavers by training hundreds of youths and women. We have also met with so many amazing people in this journey.

It has not been rosy…we’ve had some good, bad and ugly times. But, we move on and learn from our experiences. There are times that I thought of giving up on my dream on weaving and designing asooke for you all. But, the passion I have for this profession has kept me going. Dreams really do come true.

I am humbled and privileged to have worked with a lot of you here. My goal has always been to design your desire and more importantly preserve our cultural heritage. I hope I have done just that for you.

We will continue to create an avenue for learning and preserving cultural heritage through the use of basic and acquired knowledge in the traditional weaving.
