Would you say

'We had three weeks holiday' or
'We had a three-week holiday'?

The correct expression is:

We had a three-week today✔️✔️

When two or more words work together to describe a noun, they form a compound adjective.

A compound adjective comes before the noun, and the noun inside it is usually singular.
So we say:

▪️a three-week holiday ✅
Not a three-weeks holiday ❌

▪️a two-hour meeting
▪️a ten-year-old boy
▪️an eight-page report

❌ We went on a two days trip. ✅ We went on a two-day trip.

❌ She bought a five litres bottle. ✅ She bought a five-litre bottle.

❌ He is a ten years old boy.
✅He is a ten-year-old boy.

❌ It was a three weeks course. ✅ It was a three-week course.

Notice the difference:
The holiday lasted three weeks. ✅ (weeks is a noun, so it's plural.)
It was a three-week holiday. ✅

(three-week is an adjective, so week stays singular.)

➡️If it's describing a noun, make it singular. If it's naming a quantity, make it plural.

Examples:
The meeting lasted two hours. ✅
It was a two-hour meeting. ✅

Learn what to say!
To haggle means to negotiate the price of something, especially by asking the seller to reduce it.

For example: I haggled with the trader, and she reduced the price from ₦20,000 to ₦15,000.

A bargain, on the other hand, is a good deal. It means you bought something at a price lower than its usual value.

For example: This shoe was a bargain. I bought it for only ₦15,000 instead of ₦30,000.

✅✅So, you haggle to get a bargain.

❗Watch a movie = focus on viewing it from beginning to end.

We watched a movie last night.

❗See a movie= emphasizes the experience of going to or viewing it rather than the act of watching.

Do you want to see a movie this weekend?

✅ Let's watch a movie tonight.
✅ Let's go see a movie tonight.
For your sentence.

❗"Do we see a movie?" This is less common unless you're talking about going to a cinema.
