Impact or Impart
Impact could be a verb or a noun. It is a forceful influence or effect on something.

While Impart is a verb which means to pass, bestow or transfer a knowledge or quality.

Examples.
As a teacher, one of the things that give me joy is imparting the right knowledge in to my students.

Her parents' separation had a great impact on her life

Note; Impact means 'affect' as a verb and 'effect' as a noun.
Impart means, convey, pass, bestow etc.

Haunt or Hunt

Haunt is when a ghost is after a person or place or when you find it difficult to forget a traumatic experience.

While

Hunt is to be in search of wild animals or birds for eating purpose.

Examples

My inability to help you at that time still haunts me.
I will like to hunt for an antelope one of these days
