Carl Bard states, "Even though nobody can go back and start over, anyone can start now and make a brand new ending."
It's a new year everywhere you look, and I can't stop beating my breast for everyone to see that, whether it's one, two, or more, we all have resolutions for the coming year because there are things we wish we had done better but were unable to do, and we can't go back in time to do it correctly either. So let's make the most of the new time that the creator has given us because "The bad news is time flies. The encouraging news is we are the pilot" - Micheal Altshuler.
The major things that determine how our lives will turn out for better or worse are our choices, actions(characters), and the ways in which life events impact us(changes). First and foremost, we must conquer procrastination because it only serves to impede our actions, which are offsprings of our thoughts and feelings. While characters dictate how changes impact our lives and therefore, “The changes in our life must come from the impossibility to live other than according to the demands of our conscience, not from our mental resolution to try a new form of life.”stated - Leo Tolstoy and "character on the other hand, is the capacity to see a satisfactory resolution through long after the thrill of the moment fades." -Cavett Robert.
Let's be mindful of how our activities impact our lives in the this year, since they shape our personalities and impact us in different ways.
For the first three days of January, the majority of us walked through our lives, room by room, making lists of tasks to complete and gaps to be filled. Maybe we could go through our lives' rooms this year to balance the list. searching for potential rather than shortcomings. Thus, let's toast to a prosperous New Year and a happy farewell to the past. Let's also toast to the things that lie ahead and the memories we will always cherish.
And finally, cheers to a new year full of responsibilities, even though I'm sure we'll just do the same old stuff anyway 😂 but in a better way.
Happy new year to y'all ❤️🤩
I love y'all 😌❤️
Thanks🙇♀️

🎯George Smith Patton Jr. was a general in the United States Army who commanded the Seventh United States Army in the Mediterranean Theater of World War II among others, he won many awards during his days in battles;one of which is the purple heart award.🥳
He is one of the most successful United States field commanders of any war who knows what he is talking about.😁
Known for his brilliance on the battlefield, Patton often had to make decisions based on limited information and time. But he knew to avoid “paralysis by analysis,”(Planning - sometimes embraces fear) make a decision and execute it the best he could. This one of his favorite words in the battlefield to his comrades...He always encourage them to execute any good plan they have and that they should avoid procrastination because he believes that "A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week". To my dear comrades in the house, please avoid procrastination.. This week is not gone yet, do what you want to do with what you have when you can - Arthur Ashe ☺️
Thanks.

🔺💡Hiatus is a word used to refer to a temporary gap, pause, break, or absence in an activity, or a time during which something does not happen or exist. A hiatus is a pause in which nothing happens, or a gap where something is missing.[...] it can be a brief hiatus, long hiatus, temporary hiatus.. But never say short hiatus, it's a tautology
🔺💡Common collocation
A Hiatus is often collocated with 'take' & 'go'. i. e Take a hiatus or go on a hiatus
Recall that the choice of the article to use dépends on the sound that is starting a word, if it's a consonant use article (a) and if it's a vowel use article (an). Therefore, it's not an hiatus, it's a hiatus✅ because it's the consonant sound/h/that begins the word. Also, you can't determine the sound that begins any word by the spelling but by the pronunciation of the word.
Usage🔺💡
💡He took a hiatus from wrestling in 1986.
💡They are back after a few decades of hiatus, and they're better than ever.
💡The nutlog will be taking a hiatus for about three weeks in August.
💡The hiatus did nothing to improve the flow of the game and both sides were probably grateful for the half-time whistle.
💡There was a hiatus in the activities of the agency.

💡By all accounts, Teed treated the six young actors as his own children, even taking them on trips during the summer hiatus.

❤️I call this quote the Helen Keller definition of Optimism. Helen Keller became the first blind-deaf person to effectively communicate with the sighted and hearing world, even before the mass communication era.
Optimism by definition is hopefulness and confidence about the future or the successful outcome of something. It is super easy to be negative these days. Especially if you are pain, emotionally hurting or just plain not happy with where you are.
Optimism is something we all need more of. Its not living in a fantasy land, but keeping the faith and hope, that good things come.
Keep/Start being optimistic over there today.

Success is the product of daily
habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations. Many of us are under the impression that success is the culmination of gainful encounters and one-in-a-lifetime opportunities. We often assume that success requires some degree of luck. These is where habits come in. Habits are powerful because they help you achieve goals without replying on abstractions like luck, efforts, and willpower.(I'm not trying to nullify the power of efforts neither am I making the willpower useless)just saying that harnessing the power of habits is another great way to pursue success because habit itself is a compound interest of self improvement and the accumulation of self improvement leads to success.

Belated Is an adjective. It is also the past participle of an old English word 'belate' (a verb) which means late or behindhand. It is often used to qualify something coming or being after the customary, useful or expected time or delayed beyond the usual time.
Usage💡
🔺You need to send belated congratulations to the list of awardees from last night's celebration.
🔺His eyes clouded with belated concern and his voice lost its edge.
🔺This belated recognition does not make the pictures themselves better or worse
🔺They did make a belated attempt to reduce the noise.
🔺I sent a belated apology, but had no reply
💡Note:The word belated means that something is late or delayed. If you wrote the phrase happy belated birthday but changed the word belated to its synonym “late,” you’d get happy late birthday. And this might be correct if the birthday were the thing that was late, but since a birthday is the anniversary of someone’s birth it can’t be late—or early, for that matter. Greetings can be late, however, so it makes much more sense to say late happy birthday, which is why belated happy birthday is the correct formulation. When you write the greeting correctly, belated modifies the phrase happy birthday. When you write it incorrectly, happy modifies the phrase belated birthday.
