One Month of Transforming Ideas into Sustainable Enterprises
Tomorrow, Thursday, 30 July 2026, marks an important milestone for the Ibadan Business School Youth Entrepreneurial Development Programme (IBS-YEDP).
In just one month, our participants have embarked on an exciting journey of learning, growth, and enterprise development. What began as a vision to empower aspiring entrepreneurs has evolved into a practical learning experience where participants are acquiring the knowledge and skills needed to build sustainable businesses.
So far, participants have successfully completed four impactful modules:
Module 1: Business Idea Conception, Nurturing, Development and Registration
Module 2: Business Proposal Development, Packaging and Presentation
Module 3: Enterprise Feasibility Diagnosis and Appraisal (Part One: Market, Operations and Finance)
Module 4: Enterprise Feasibility Diagnosis and Appraisal (Part Two: Technology, Environment, Legal and Sustainability)
Through these sessions, participants have learned how to identify viable business opportunities, refine and validate business ideas, develop compelling business proposals, understand the importance of business registration, and conduct comprehensive feasibility studies to assess the market, operational, financial, technological, environmental, legal, and sustainability aspects of a business venture.
As we move into Module 5: Procurement Planning and Management of Goods and Supplies, participants will learn practical knowledge on how to strategically plan, source, procure, and manage goods and supplies efficiently. They will learn how effective procurement supports cost control, operational efficiency, supplier management, and overall business profitability.
If you've been considering joining the IBS-YEDP, there's still time to become part of a community dedicated to raising the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
