Admission Pathway.

The basic knowledge for this concept is any process available for a secondary school leaver like yourself to gain admission into a higher institution of learning. Various pathways exist depending on the institution but here are the most basic and general pathways.

UTME + Ordinary Level Result + Post UTME = University Admission

Almost every senior secondary school three student knows this. Don't be surprised, the majority of them have it engraved subconsciously that they have to perform well in WAEC, UTME, and Post UTME to be gain university admission.

What happens if rejected on the first attempt?

They simply try again and hope they are selected.

UTME + ND + DE = University admission

Often time a candidate can miss the first path and opt for any available offer in a polytechnic, spend 2 years in the institution (National Diploma 1 {ND1} and National Diploma 2 {ND2}. After which such a candidate reapplies into a university through Direct entry this time and joins other colleagues in the second year.

Candidates could sometimes proceed to have a higher national diploma after then proceed to a university. They often commence from the third year in any program relevant to that studied at the polytechnic.

Failed UTME + Advanced Program + DE = University admission.

Another scenario on this could be a failed UTME attempt leading to enrolling for an advanced level program like IJMB, JUPEP, and Cambridge that takes at most one year depending on the program after which a candidate can further apply for University admission and join colleagues in the second year.

Understanding the admission pathways goes a long way in assisting students to decide on the faster alternative to consider once their initial pathways do not go as planned.

Take a look at these images. What do you see?

Both images show the number of Jamb Applications and the number of candidates admitted for the last decade (2010-2019).

So why are they important?

As university seekers, it tells you how fierce it is for you to get admission. It does not in any way state you can not get admitted.

The reports show that the percentage of getting admission for this period ranges from 25 percent to 34 percent - not even up to 50.

So what do you have to do to meet the list of being accepted?

You either have to be extremely sound academically or you just have to approach seeking the admission process strategically.

While the former is something you can establish by a simple act of desiring, deciding, and determine. The latter requires you to partner with those who deeply understand the pathway to secure admission.

Craig Educational Consult - IJMB Programme 02/09/2021

September is here already and crawling away gradually.

Let me ask you these questions and I hope you will honestly answer them as only when you do this can you know the next line of action.

Your new year resolutions, how are you getting at it?

Poorly or Great. If the former is the answer, you can prevent rolling them over by commencing this month. However, if the latter is the answer, You can do better than what you doing now.

Do you give excuses?

One thing to avoid is excuses. You probably have heard it before and hearing it again you should know how serious it is. Excuses do not help you grow, they keep you stagnant which deters you from fulfilling those goals.

Are you committed to your goals?

Achieving those goals will not take place smoothly hence the need for this ingredient "Commitment". Commitment will get you back to those goals even when they look tough to accomplish.

Cheers to a new month of commencing all your abandoned goals.

Best Wish
CRAIG EDUCATIONAL CONSULT.

SEE YOU AT THE TOP.

There is no general cut-off mark this year as JAMB has given Schools the Autonomy to decide - JAMB registrar

It's quite painful to come to terms with the reality that despite depriving yourself of pleasures, sleep, burning candles, attending tutorials upon tutorials, going through past questions upon past questions, group discussion to mention a few, you did not meet the cutoff mark.
😪😪
As unfortunate as this is, Will You decide to dwell in the past?; Will You pick grudges with everyone?; Will You start playing the blame game; Will You be depressed?
🤔🤔
Of course not, if there is ever a time to be strong.
It is now!!!
Draw from your innermost strength, and forge ahead. It is not over. It's just time to try again or better still try something else.
Your best is yet to come.

A critical glance at the current population demographic of the country shows a rising population of age groups 10 to 20 above other age groups.

This age group as we all know comprises teenagers trying to transition from their secondary education to university education. This implies that present tertiary systems would be faced with congestion.

More people trying to access limited university openings in the country through the recognized Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

For the past half a decade, performance has been low. However, the focus was more on the 2020 result because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite the above, students who harnessed into our IJMB program are currently enrolled in their desired institutions studying their desired course.

This was possible because they harness our backend entry program - the IJMB program. Where they were taught extensively for 9 months and afterward wrote a unifying examination.

The opportunity they had is still available for every one annually till otherwise stated. If you are not sure this write-up is for you, try to answer the questions below. If they are all YES, we will be expecting your call.

✅Are you seeking university admission?
✅ Did you have a bad Jamb score this year?
✅Are you still awaiting any ordinary level result?
✅sliding into depression due to your quest for admission?

Late registration for our program starts in September. You don't have to wait till then.

This post is created to assist secondary school leavers whose undying desire to experience tertiary (University) education is threatened by the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

It will achieve this by revealing a secret alternative known to few, howbeit a quite certain approach to gain admission into any Nigerian University of your choice to study the course you desire. This secret recipe is the Interim Joint Matriculation Board.

Keeping it brief since this is an introductory piece, IJMB is a nine-month advanced level program that saves candidates the stress of having to write another uncertain UTME; sitting idle for a year without being academically productive, and position them to secure University Admission. It is a program recognized by the National University Commission and allows the candidate to join their mates in the second year in school.

Statistics revealed that about 134,000 Nigerian students were admitted using direct entry (DE). Of this figure, admission through IJMB is 25 percent. This shows that the IJMB is an explored gold mine only a few know about.

As an expert in this field, I will be assisting a few university aspirants to gain admission to study their dream course in their dream institution. I used the word few because the annual capacity of secondary school leavers that can benefit from this program through the CONSULT is just 100 sad. Yes, Just 100.

P.S: THE REGISTRATION EXERCISE FOR THE 2021 ACADEMIC SESSION IS ONGOING. INTERESTED CANDIDATE SHOULD OBTAIN THEIR FORMS BY EITHER CALLING OR WHATSAPPING 08136397272
