IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS YOU MUST KEEP SAFE ONCE YOU GAIN ADMISSION

Congratulations on your admission
But before you start shouting up and down, there is something many students always overlook... Which is DOCUMENTS.

These papers may look ordinary now, but the day you misplace one, you will understand their value

Some of them are difficult, stressful, and sometimes impossible to replace on time;

1. JAMB Registration Slip & Original JAMB Result
These are among the most important. You will need them for screening, departmental registration, clearance, and sometimes even final year NYSC processes.
Keep both original and photocopies

2. Admission Letter (JAMB & School)
Print both your JAMB admission letter and the one from your school portal. Some schools demand both during clearance. Losing this can delay your registration badly

3. O’Level Results (WAEC/NECO)
It's good to Use the original copy not printout.
Buh if you don't have the money yet, you can manage the print out..
Schools usually keep a photocopy during screening. Make sure your names and details match exactly with what’s on your JAMB profile.

4. Birth Certificate / Age Declaration
This is often needed during screening and for NYSC later. If you don’t have it, get it early to avoid last-minute wahala.

5. Local Government Identification / Certificate of Origin
Many schools use this to confirm your state and LGA during clearance. It’s also needed for NYSC and sometimes school scholarships.

6. Passport Photographs
Carry plenty! You will be surprised how many times you will need passport photos...
for files, IDs, hostel forms, library cards, etc

7. School Payment Receipts & Acceptance Fee Printouts
From the moment you start paying any money to the school, save your receipts (both printed and soft copies). Some schools won’t attend to you if you can’t show proof of payment.
