Adamu Fura College of Nursing Sciences Gombe

Adamu Fura College of Nursing Sciences Gombe AFCONS was established in 2024 as a private institution for nursing education. The College is named after the Proprietor’s late father; Alhaji Adamu Fura.

The Proprietor of the College is Air Vice Marshal Shehu Suleiman Adamu, who served meritoriously in the Nigerian Air Force and retired in 2018. The Proprietor’s intention for establishing the College is to offer high-quality nursing education to address the increasing demand for skilled healthcare professionals. With a focus on academic excellence, clinical training, ethical and moral practice, the college aims to equip students for success in the field. Thereby, adding value and contributing to the upliftment of healthcare provision to humanity. AFCONS has secured accreditation by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) as well as by the National Board for Technical Education ((NBTE) for professional and academic training of nurses. The College commenced training in 2024.
