LET THE SOUL OF BENUE SURVIVES

If the governor was not able to submit his NASS candidates who supposedly won the primary election or if they were substituted by any means then his purpose for the change is already defeated.

The big question now is;

1. Will the NASS members campaign for the Governorship candidate of their party who sought to replace them by all means?

2. Will the governor tell the masses to vote for the Ubokoti who are in the same political party during his campaign?

This is not healthy for a party going into general elections. APCs victory in Benue is unpredictable at the moment.

We have had many oppositions during a second tenure from other political parties but never had such a very strong one in the same party.

I see the rift between the two camps continuing into the second tenure and lasting throughout the next four years.

May the soul of Benue Survives. And let the will of God be done.

NOT EVERYTHING MONEY CAN DO

Most times we hear people talk and brag about the influence of what money can do for them but as I grew up I discovered that money is not everything.

There was a very rich man in a church community far away from home. He was a native of a known tribe in Nigeria. Anytime a person or family is bereaved he would seek an account number and send them money.

During the service of songs for the bereaved you wouldn't see him, neither will he attend any funeral. He was known for his huge donations.

There came a time when his beloved wife died and only a few that were very close to him came around to pay condolences.

People sought for his account details and started sending money to him. He actually didn't need their money anyway.

A day was set for conveying the co**se to his home town for burial. He hired vehicles enough to transport mourners and sympathizers along with him to his village.

He met the shock of his life. They paid him in his coins. They sent money and never came. like he usually does.

A few followed him to bury his deceased wife. But when he was back his head got formatted. Things changed.

He started finding time to go around bereaved families and not just sending money. He would be first to pay condolences. First at wake keep and burials.

Time they say is money but money is not time. Create time for people around you especially the low class. Money is not everything.
