VISION: To help our teenagers discover their purpose of life.
07/11/2025
Again, I reiterate this as I did last year and the year before: Instead of spending four years reading a course like sociology, philosophy, anthropology, political science, library science, and so on at university, just go and learn a high-income skill like nursing, cloud computing, blockchain engineering, artificial intelligence, web design, coding, programming, ethical hacking, and analytics for between six and eighteen months.
Find your calling. Something that you have a connection to, which you do better than others, and it does not feel like work. That is what you should go to school, whether it's a university or a college, to read. It is better not to waste four to five years of your life reading a course that you have no natural love for or feel no connection to just because you want to be a graduate. Four years is 5% of your life if you live long. Please that degree paper is not that important.
Do what you love. I read Law up to Masters level in England, but it is writing that now enables me to travel the world and live my dream. If you follow your calling, you will earn more in a lifetime than most university graduates. The world has changed. Many university courses have expired. They belong in a museum. Maybe a few people can read them to preserve some knowledge. However, when hundreds of thousands of people study them at the degree level, they will never find real-life jobs that are applicable to those degrees. And they and their courses end up being a drain on society. Get a skill instead of a semi-useless degree!
*10 TIPS TO HELP OUR CHILDREN FLOURISH AS SCHOOL RESUMES.*
The festive season is over and normal activities are set to return. As schools resume for the Second term on Monday, Jan 6, 2025, here are some tips that will make your children excel:
📌Prepare their learning materials such as textbooks, notebooks and other writing materials before resumption. Most importantly, don’t forget to pay their school fees as and when due.
📌Before they leave the house in the morning, endeavor they take their breakfast. This will help their memories to remain active while learning.
📌While you prepare the food they will be bringing to school avoid using fishes that have bones. It is very risky and has caused most of the children a whole lot of problem.
📌Their cutleries(spoon, fork) etc, should be made of plastic and not iron or metals to avoid any kind of accident.
📌Ensure that your children are neatly and properly dressed.
📌Prioritize your child's educational needs over your personal needs because they learn from every of your actions.
📌A fruit a day is okay. Include fruits in their lunch box to ensure proper healthy living. The importance of fruits before or after meals cannot be overemphasized.
📌Be mindful of the kind of beverage you add in their pack. Some of them causes stomach irritation thereby inhibiting them from focusing on the day's activities.
📌Try to find out what they would love to eat each day and try to prepare it for them so they won't return their food home after school which may lead to ulcer.
📌Most importantly, pray for your children every morning before they leave the house. Remember, the power of life and death lies in our tongue. As their first prophets, prophecy good things into them and watch them attain enviable success.
Wishing all our children a hitch-free and fruitful term.
