The following candidates are NOT eligible for the Summer Programme:
1. Dismissed or absconded candidates.
2. Candidates who have not completed Teaching Practice and Project.
3. Amnesty candidates with more than 15 carryovers.

This is to inform all prospective students who selected Umar Suleiman College of Education, Gashua, Yobe State as their First Choice in the 2025 JAMB (both UTME and Direct Entry) that they are required to upload their O' Level results.

Kindly proceed to the nearest JAMB-accredited CBT centre to upload your O' Level result to the JAMB portal. This is a mandatory step for the processing of your admission.

Failure to upload your result may delay or hinder your admission process.

The Directorate of Degree Programmes, Umar Suleiman College of Education, Gashua, wishes to inform the general public and all interested candidates that the sale of admission forms into the College’s Undergraduate Degree Programmes (affiliated to the University of Maiduguri) for the 2025/2026 Academic Session is now ongoing.

1. Applicants are to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦3,000 into the College Account at Gashua Microfinance Bank.

2. Evidence of payment (Bank Teller) should be submitted to the Bursary Department, after which applicants can collect the Application Form from the College Admission Office.

Admission Requirements:

1. Candidates must have sat for the JAMB UTME and scored a minimum of 150 points.
2. Candidates must possess five (5) O’Level Credits (including English Language and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS).
3. Candidates with relevant Diploma Certificates may be considered for Direct Entry Admission.

All duly completed application forms are to be submitted to the College Admission Office on or before the stipulated deadline.

This is to inform all students that the examination will commence on Monday. Every student is strictly required to present a valid Student Identity Card (ID Card) before being allowed to sit for any paper.

Any student without a valid ID card will not be allowed to write the examination under any circumstance. You are therefore strongly advised to use the remaining days to collect or renew your ID card from the appropriate office.

Please take this notice seriously, as no excuses will be accepted.

SEMINAR PRESENTATION 2025

It's with great joy and appreciation I announce the conclusion of this year's seminar presentation for 400 level students, Education Chemistry Department.

My special gratitude goes to the college provost Dr. AbdurRahaman Danladi for finding our department worthy in attending this programme every year. Honestly, you just part of chemistry family and we always feel honoured seeing you among us, especially you actively participated from the beginning to the end.

Provost awards for the best academic performing students and financial contribution to the department while organizing the event is always appreciated.
