TEDx Start-Rite Schools, Abuja, in collaboration with the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), hosted the first-ever TEDx event for students in the Africa region. The event featured international speakers, making this our most globally connected edition yet!

We were honoured to host Akinori Shigemi, CEO of Robot Programming School, who travelled all the way from Japan to share insights on "How to Help Children Face Their Fear of Failure."

His message on resilience and embracing challenges resonated deeply, reinforcing what we stand for at Start-Rite Schools; nurturing fearless learners, bold thinkers, and future-ready leaders.

This year’s event, themed “Ripples” speaks to the impact of small actions and big ideas. It provides a non-competitive platform for your students (aged 12–18) to share their ideas through a speech, talk, or spoken word performance, joining a movement of young changemakers driving transformation.

Cost: N25,000 per participant
