EXCERPTS FROM SUNDAY SERVICE ON 16TH AUGUST, 2026
TEXT: Mark 5:25-34
Without a vital connection with Christ, every other life you are living, is a life you are loosing gradually. The encounter the woman with the issue of Blood had with Jesus shows us that the life that flows in Christ is indestructible.
Christ gives you life physically, He gives you life spiritually, and He does not just give you life spiritually, He gives you life eternally. Every other life outside Christ, is temporal.
Don't get too obsessed and selfish to the point of loosing your mind because you are trying to grab things in this life at the expense of your soul. Jesus said: "What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and looses his soul".
So, it is only in Christ who has a life that cannot be destroyed, that your life can be sustained. By faith we can tap into that life, and the life in Christ will begin to work in our lives - setting us free from diseases and other challenges.
The question now is: are you truly connected with Christ? You cannot grow without having regular and daily devotion; studying the word of God. You cannot grow in the absence of regular and daily prayer life.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Thank God for the gift of life and for bringing you into the new week.
2. Ask Jesus to touch your life.
3. Whatever that is your burden, present it before God.
4. If you know that you are not truly connected with Christ, ask Him to come into your life.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM HOUR OF TRANSFIGURATION ON 12TH AUGUST, 2026
TEXT: 2kings 5:1-15
MINISTER: Ven Dr Moses Omeke
Although Naaman was a great man, honourable and a mighty man of valour, he was a l***r. All his greatness was undermined by one problem; Leprosy. Satan wanted to give him a real setback with that single problem. Sometimes, satan uses infirmities to destroy your authority, and predicaments to destroy your achievements.
How then did Namaan rose to greatness with leprosy? He did not allow the situation in his life to stop him from achieving greatness. Most times, satan seeks to challenge greatness with one problem. People loose in destiny because of satanic invasion. There may not be many problems that damage every good thing in your life, just one.
So I have come to a conclusion that: one mistake can spoil everything. One little problem can destroy every testimony. In the reality of life, one failure can destroy all the years of success. People can be benefiting from you, but one day of not getting the benefit, they can forget all the ones they have been getting.
THINGS THAT HELPED NAMAAN TO RECOVER
1. He located the right altar: He met a prophet and it took prophetic encounter to deliver him.
2. He obeyed the instruction of the prophet.
3. He immersed himself in water: The water represents the word of God and the Spirit of God in current time. If you dip yourself in the word of God and the Spirit of God everyday, every leprosy in your life must go away.
Make sure that your life is in Christ. Live your life in the spirit. How do you live in the spirit? >> Bearing in mind that you are a child of God, believing that God is with you and always confessing what God has said each day.
LESSONS
••• How do you know that somebody's destiny is buried? >> When what was working stops working, what was growing stops growing and what was progressing stops.
••• Whatever satan gives you is a stolen property. He cannot create or produce anything. That is why it is important that anything satan stole from your life must be returned, because if he steals from you, he replaces it with something else that is worse.
PRAYER POINTS
1. From now to the end of this year, are my months of restoration. It's your season of restoration, pray it in..
2. I receive grace to step into my restoration.
3. O' Lord, every plan to insult your blessings in my life, arrest them now.
4. Let the fire of God restore my stolen properties.
5. I am not a victim, my blood is not available for sacrifice.
6. O' Lord, my destiny is in Your hands, any power that will put on me what is not my destiny, scatter it now.
7. O' God, Your report will be established in my life. No evil report over my life.
8. Not my head, not my life, I will not be a victim of the evil I know nothing about.

EXCERPTS FROM SUNDAY SERMON ON 9TH AUGUST, 2026
TOPIC: Prosperity, God's Plan For His Children*l
TEXT: 2Corint 9:5-8
THE SERMON BY:
As we step into the time of harvest, it is the commencement of a season when you start understanding your spiritual position and provision for prosperity.
It is the plan of God for us that to him that labours, harvest shall come - and that we should not be pursuing blessings, instead blessings will pursue us. But there is a life to live so that you can come up to that realm.
Prosperity is first of all a mentality. How far you will go with God in your prosperity is strongly connected to the kind of mentality you have.
Using the Macedonian Christians as an example: they were not the richest in their time, in fact; they were counted among the poor people, but their attitude and actions did not look like they had poverty in their minds. So, poverty is not pocket, it is mindset
For the Macedonian christians, their difficult challenges only provoked them to go beyond their abilities to serve God. They faced a lot of hardships but it did not stop them.
They kept giving to a point that Apostle Paul was challenged and he was moved to pray for them as recorded in ~ 2Corint 5:8 >
And God is able to make all grace abound towards you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. God later blessed the Macedonian church in such a way that they had all the tools to become the strongest church among all the churches in Asia as at that time.
God began to provoke help for them ~ Acts 16:9 > And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; there stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him saying, come over to Macedonia and help us, because anybody that is committed to glorifying God regardless of his situation, heaven will be committed to step down to help him.
There are mindsets that bring poverty:
1. Mindset of satisfaction or arrival mentality: This mindset is one idea that makes you believe you have come to the peak of your achievements. That is, a little success you see, you feel that you are already on top of the world. Remember, this does not in any way negate the place of contentment; because, they are entirely different from each other.
"Contentment" is a quiet and peaceful state of being happy and grateful for what you have now, while aspiring for more, "Arrival Mentality" is a premature contentment: meaning that you become relaxed after a certain level of achievement without any aspiration to achieve more.
2. Complacency: That is feeling so happy with how things are, or with what you have done, that you stop trying to do better or forget to watch out for danger.
3. Laziness: Not wanting to work, put effort or be active despite having the physical and mental capacity to do so.
4. Entitlement Mentality: This is the belief that you deserve special treatment, rewards or privileges without needing to work for them. You are only entitled to your own opinion, and once your opinion is not in line with the word of God, you are gradually heading to your own disaster.
Hardship can do two things in the life of a man. It either stops you or motivates you.
Some people will give you a thousand reasons why they face hardship, but there are people who also had the same challenge, but instead of stopping them, it motivated them to strive harder and break out into prosperity.
All you need is to have a mentality that is dependent on God, determined to break through, ready to come out from where you are, and become who God wants you to be. Don't allow your actions to align with your situation.
Imitate the Macedonian Christians who even though they didn't have much, acted as if they had enough and God later blessed them, by provoking help for them.
LESSONS
••• When grace comes into your struggles, the struggles will end because you will see results. If there are results in what you do, it is no longer a struggle.
••• To break out of limitations, you must be hardworking and prayerful.
••• As your heart is, so will you be ~ Prov 23:7
PRAYER POINTS
1. Worship the Lord for the gift of life and for sustaining you.
2. Father, I receive grace to act against my condition.
3. I will never end up as satan has planned for me.
4. God is able to give me grace, I receive all the grace to abound in every good work.
5. I break out from every limitations.
Psalms 12: I -8
6. I have escaped like a bird, the traps of the enemies in the remaining months of this year.
7. Every snares of the enemy around me is broken.
