NOVA CREST ENUGU

Yesterday, our learners embarked on a study visit to the Enugu State Waste Management Authority, where they gained first-hand knowledge about waste management and environmental sanitation. During the visit, the learners joined the staff of the Enugu State Waste Management Authority in collecting waste. They saw how the entire process works—from gathering waste from different locations to sorting and preparing it for proper disposal. This hands-on experience helped them understand the effort involved in keeping the environment clean and the importance of responsible waste management.

This term, our learners are carrying out a project focused on SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). As part of that project, we had our school’s cleanup day. They were reminded of the importance of keeping their environment clean and how to dispose of waste properly.
