It truly takes patience to nurture children. And it takes even greater patience to work with younger ones—especially those between 6 and 13 years old.
Today was my first time training kids in a very long while—after almost three years away from it. Honestly, I was surprised at myself. I observed a level of patience in me that I didn’t even recognize.
Anyone who knows me knows I’m usually very results-driven. I like quick understanding, quick progress, and visible outcomes. People may not always enjoy the process with me, but they usually appreciate the results at the end.
However, today was different. I had to slow down. I had to adjust. I had to truly understand that I was dealing with children who learn differently and at different paces.
And I must say—I’ve come a long way.
Because for a moment, I saw growth in myself, not just in the children I was training. My patience surprised me. And in that moment, I realized that real impact sometimes requires slowing down, not speeding up.

Training young people goes far beyond teaching them how to walk on a runway.
It is about building confidence, discipline, resilience, and self-belief.
During these recent trainings, I saw young people push past nervousness, learn new skills, and step boldly into their potential.
Moments like these remind me why I do what I do.
The goal is not just to create great models —
the goal is to raise confident young leaders who can stand tall anywhere they go.
And for that, I am truly proud. ✨

The Journey So Far… and the Birth of Jey-Heart Academy
Education was never the path I imagined for myself. It wasn’t part of the original plan. But somehow, it found me—and when it did, everything clicked.
As I grew in this field, I began to see education differently.
I realised that schools are no longer just about teaching subjects and preparing students for exams. Education today is about value. It is about raising confident, skilled, expressive, and purpose-driven young people.
And I discovered something about myself too.
I found my voice in the Creative Arts.
I love to dance. I act. I sing. I create. I am proudly multi-talented. I often call myself the Queen of Art—not out of pride, but out of purpose. Because I have seen firsthand the power of the arts to transform a child’s confidence, identity, and future.
But the real turning point was this:
I realised my assignment was not just to express my talents… but to use them to nurture others.
I saw students who were gifted but unsure. Talented but unpolished. Creative but unseen.
And I knew something had to be done.
That vision gave birth to .
Jey-Heart Academy was created as a platform to:
• Discover hidden talents• Nurture creativity• Build confidence• Develop expression• And raise well-rounded individuals through the Creative Arts
It is more than an academy. It is a mission. It is a calling. It is a response to a need.
Today, when I see young people stand boldly, perform confidently, and believe in themselves, I am reminded why this journey chose me.
Education gave me a platform. The Arts gave me a voice.Jey-Heart Academy gave that voice a legacy.
And this is only the beginning.

LET'S TALK ABOUT CONFIDENCE,
I am too shy,
I don't think I have what it takes,
Maybe they will laugh at me,
Perhaps I am not good enough,
What if I don't get it right
Oh no! they will call me goodie too much!
I am just not good enough
She's better,
He's better,
I will do it some other time.
More than 95% of the Teenage group tend to feel this way when called to the stage,
At one fright they back out.
But listen you have got what it takes, to step out and speak.
Confidence is built, it's not magic
A step at a time, can make a little difference.
