1.Use ‘hanged’ whenever you are referring to human beings . E.g
a. He was hanged after his confession.
2. Use ‘hung’ whenever you are referring to objects. E.g
a. I have hung the clothes on the line.
b. The pictures were hung on the wall by me.

When to use ‘loose’ / lu:s/ and ‘lose’ /lu:z/ .
Use loose when something is not tight. e.g
1. You need to adjust the waist line of the dress, it’s ‘loose’ on her.
2. I need to ‘loose’ my daughter’s hair. She needs to make a new one.
Use lose when something is misplaced or when one is defeated in a match or game. e. g
1. I will do my best not to lose in the competition.
2. I usually lose something important whenever I go to a new place.

Say: He understands Yoruba and French.
4. Don’t say: Can you hide the secret?
Say: Can you keep a secret?
5. Don’t say: I went to cut my hair.
Say: I went to have a hair cut.
6. Don’t say: He is an indegene of Owerri.
Say: He is a native of Owerri.
7. Don’t say: He knows book 📕 .
Say: He is brilliant.
8. Don’t say: He is a big man 👨 .
Say: He is an influential man.
9. Don’t say: Borrow me some money.
Say: Lend me some money 💴 .
10. Don’t say: Don’t march me.
