Our Deputy Director, Dr. Chinwe Chukwudi, represented the Vaccine Research Centre at the American Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (ASTMH) annual conference 2026 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada! The conference, themed "United For Science in Global Health", brought together leading experts in tropical medicine and global health to share knowledge and advance research.
Dr. Chinwe's participation at the conference underscores our centre's commitment to cutting-edge research and collaboration in vaccine development. She made a presentation on Human African Trypanosomiasis in Nigeria: The challenges of Diagnosis and Treatment Access. We are proud of her contributions to global health!
