LearningSphere We are officially launching on the 28th.

This week has been both challenging and progress-laden. I met with Proprietors of Schools and major stakeholders in Education. We are getting closer to signing MOUs. We train teachers and students, greatly impacting learning outcomes.

envisage a re-energized, revitalized, refurbished and functional education system that bequeath industry relevant skills on secondary school students and undergraduates.

LearningSphere is not a school. It is rather a school support, consultancy firm dedicated to reclaiming the academic landscape through our programs and interventions.

OUR PROGRAMS IN A NUTSHELL

COMMUNICATION FOR TEACHERS

We believe that Communication as a singular factor can triple learning outcomes. Teachers should be trained to be excellent communicators. The more they can communicate, the higher the chances of learning. Poor communication hampers the learning potential of learners.

COMMUNICATION FOR LEARNERS

Communication as we all know is a two way activity which requires the active participation of both the sender and reciever. It is therefore not enough to train only teachers. Learning requires the involvement and full participation of the learner. Here we raise the issues of Active Listening, Concentration and Attention building activities. How do we kill divided attention? How do we increase Focus?
Here we raise the importance of the sequence of learning.

EDUCATION WITH VISION

Education with vision helps students measure where they are, 'here' to 'there' which is where they hope to be. The argument is that a medical doctor will not become a medical doctor if he or she is not becoming one. We emphasize that every biology class matters and is gradually but steadily making a doctor out of this fellow. We make the process count. We help students see 'there' from 'here' thereby making the time process both enjoyable and exciting.

BEYOND SUBJECT MATTER

The argument we make in this package is that education is beyond reading and writing. It is preparation for life. Students should therefore be exposed to the world out there. We also push that schools should as a matter of urgency teach the principles of learning. Learners would be better prepared to play their roles in the drama called learning if they clearly understand them.
