🏡 300-bed capacity designed to accommodate students comfortably.

🛏️ Six spacious dormitories, each with 50-bed spaces, fitted with sturdy double bunk beds, comfortable mattresses, individual wardrobes, and excellent ventilation.

🚻 45 modern toilet facilities, 15 toilets on each floor, providing convenient access for students and promoting hygiene and comfort.

🧹 Daily cleaning and sanitation are carried out by our dedicated janitors, who keep the toilets, bathrooms, dormitories, and surrounding hostel environment clean, fresh, and hygienic at all times.

💧 Reliable water supply and well-maintained sanitary facilities.

💨 Well-ventilated dormitories with wall-mounted fans to provide a comfortable atmosphere for learning and rest.

👩‍🏫 Caring hostel staff and matrons who provide round-the-clock supervision, guidance, and pastoral care.

Learning Beyond the Classroom – A Visit to the Enugu State House of Assembly (HALLOWED CHAMBER)

At St. Monica Girls' Comprehensive College, Ogui, Enugu, learning extends far beyond the four walls of the classroom. We believe that the best education combines academic knowledge with real-world experiences.

As part of our commitment to holistic education, our students embarked on an educational excursion to the Enugu State House of Assembly, popularly known as The Hallowed Chamber, the Legislative Arm of Government.

This enriching visit gave our students a rare opportunity to witness democracy in action and gain first-hand knowledge of how laws are made, debated, and enacted for the development and good governance of the state. They interacted with the legislative environment, observed the workings of the Assembly, and deepened their understanding of civic responsibility, leadership, and public service.

Beyond textbooks, such educational visits inspire curiosity, broaden perspectives, and help our students connect classroom lessons in Government, Civic Education, and Social Studies with practical realities.

Giving Every Monican a Voice, Preserving Every Achievement

Education extends beyond the classroom. At St. Monica Girls' Comprehensive College, Ogui, Enugu, we provide our students with platforms to express their creativity, celebrate excellence, and preserve cherished memories through our two flagship publications: The IMAGE Magazine and the St. Monica Yearbook.

The IMAGE Magazine is our official biennial publication, produced every two years. It is more than a magazine, it is a platform where students discover and develop their talents in writing, journalism, poetry, creative arts, research, photography, and leadership. It showcases thought-provoking articles, interviews, academic reflections, school events, and the unique voices of our students, encouraging them to think critically and communicate confidently.

In the alternate year, we publish the St. Monica Yearbook, another official school publication dedicated to documenting the milestones, achievements, and memorable moments of the academic year.
