The Management , Staff and Students of Solid Base private schools Trans Ekulu ,Enugu heartily congratulate the Action Governor of Enugu state, His Excellency Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah ( our Tomorrow is here !) ; the Hon. Commissioner for Education, Prof Ndubueze Mbah for the overwhelming success of the just concluded Model United Nations Conference hosted by Enugu state Government which held from 2nd to 8th June on the theme: Developing Education In Developing Countries.

Indeed, History was made as this was the 1st of it's kind to be hosted by any Govenment of Enugu state . This conference had about 1000 students with diplomatic reps from over 20 countries. Also in attendance were the 36 state commissioners for education of the federation; secondary school students drawn from all the states of Nigeria, who attended the conference as delegates representing various countries of the world and it attracted a lot of dignitaries to the state.

We are happy to note that Among the delegates were ten students of Solid Base Private Schools, Trans-Ekulu, Enugu State

We therefore congratulate our delegates on their newly acquired titles of Ambasadors by virture of their active participation .

Finally we salute our award winning delegate for Spain Ambassador Tochukwu Egwuonwu for clinching the award for the 1st position for his presentation on the Sustainable Development Goals.

HELLO MONDAY!

My child loves video games, toys and anything fun but it drives me crazy when he reacts repulsively at books.

I've tried talking him into reading but it's not working.

I've observed that anytime he sees me watching movies in the sitting room, he always comes to sit by me. We'll see the movie together till he sleeps off watching.

This gesture passed a message to me. If he could sit with me seeing movies, I think he could also sit with me reading a book!

I applied it and it worked! He loves it when he sees me reading. It motivates him to read too.

You can try this at home with your kids. They do what you do, not what you say.

Have you thought about a four letter word that has brought so much essence to humanity!

Let's be more intentional about showing love to anyone we can.

As a parent, your child desires quality time.

As a teacher, you wouldn't overlook your students when they make mistakes

As a student, your response to your teachers', parents' and elders' instruction is an expression of how much you love them.

Of course, giving of gifts can't be over emphasised.

Give someone a handshake, an appreciation, a hug, a precious gift (nothing is too small), a prayer 🙏🏻

There will always be obstacles to hinder you from achieving your goals. These obstacles make you stronger, wiser and creative.

Obstacles stir up the capacity you have inside of you to do great things.

To get the juice from an orange, you need to press it.

Pressure is a juicer. It juices the best out of us.
