Journal of Environmental Management and Safety (JEMS) is currently accepting manuscripts for publication. JEMS publishes high-quality solicited and unsolicited articles, in all areas of Environmental management and Development. JEMS is a quarterly publication and all articles are peer-reviewed. Our main objective is to inform authors of the decision on their manuscript within six weeks of submission. Following acceptance, the paper will normally be published in the next available issue.

Healthier environments could prevent almost one quarter of the global encumbrance of disease. The COVID-19 pandemic is an extra reminder of the delicate correlation between general public and our planet.
Uncontaminated air, stable climate, adequate water, sanitation and hygiene, safe use of chemicals, shield from radiation, healthy and safe workplaces, comprehensive agricultural practices, health-supportive cities and built environments, and a preserved nature are all fundamentals for good health.
