PARABLE OF THE WEDDING FEAST
Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying:
The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.
He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come. Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business.
The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come.
So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’
So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes
He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless.
:“Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
:“For many are invited, but few are chosen.

# # # **The Parable of the Wedding Banquet (Matthew 22:1-14) - Simple Explanation**

**Context:**
Jesus tells this story to show how God invites *everyone* to His Kingdom, but many reject Him—while others try to enter *on their own terms*.

---

# # # **Key Lessons for Youth**

# # # # **1. God’s Invitation is for Everyone (v.1-10)**
- The king (God) prepares a **huge feast** (salvation through Jesus) and sends multiple invitations (through prophets, preachers, and His Word).
- **First guests (religious leaders) refuse:**
- Some ignore it (too busy with work, hobbies, or sin).
- Others attack God’s messengers (rejecting truth, mocking Christians).
- **New guests (sinners, outsiders) are invited:**
- *"Bad and good"* (v.10) = God’s grace is for **all**—but we must *accept it His way*.

# # # # **2. No One Gets In Without the Right "Clothes" (v.11-13)**
- The man without wedding clothes represents those who:
- **Want heaven but refuse repentance.**
- **Claim Jesus but live unchanged.**
- **Trust their own goodness instead of Christ’s righteousness.**
- **"Wedding clothes" = Jesus’ sacrifice covering our sin** (Isaiah 61:10). We can’t enter heaven *our way*—only *His way*.

# # # # **3. Judgment is Real (v.13-14)**
- The king throws out the improperly dressed man into **"outer darkness"** (hell).
- *"Many are called, few are chosen"* (v.14):
- God invites *all*, but only those who **surrender to Christ** are saved.

---

# # # **What This Means for Youth Today**

✅ **Don’t Ignore God’s Invitation**
- Like the first guests, many today say:
- *"I’ll follow Jesus later—I’m busy with life."*
- *"I’m a good person; I don’t need church."*
- **Warning:** Delaying = risking eternal loss.

✅ **Come to Jesus—But Come His Way**
- You can’t enter heaven by:
- *"I believe in God"* (without obedience).
- *"I’m not that bad"* (without repentance).
- **Only Jesus’ righteousness qualifies you** (2 Corinthians 5:21).

✅ **Share the Invitation**
- The king told servants to invite *everyone* (v.9).
- **Who in your life needs to hear about Jesus?**

---

# # # **Youth Challenge**
*"Are you wearing the 'wedding clothes' of faith in Christ? Or are you trying to sneak in your own way?"*

**"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in."** (Revelation 3:20)

**🔥 Respond:** *"Jesus, I accept Your invitation—clothe me in Your righteousness!"* 👑✝️

LESSON TO LEARN FROM THE LOVE OF DAVID and BATHSHEBA.
King David stays home when he’s supposed to go to war. David can’t sleep (maybe because he’s not fulfilling his purpose?), so he goes for a walk on the roof. He sees a beautiful woman bathing in the next house. David asks someone who she is (“She’s Bathsheba, married to Uriah, one of your elite fighting men”).

David sends for Bathsheba and has s*xual relations with her, knowing it's wrong. She finds out she’s pregnant. David sends for Bathsheba’s husband to come home to try to cover up his sin. He talks to Uriah about the battle and sends him home so he’ll sleep with his wife and the affair will be hidden. But Uriah is a man of integrity (he doesn’t want to enjoy anything his fellow-soldiers can’t enjoy), so he sleeps outside the palace. David tries again the next night, this time getting Uriah drunk. Uriah still won’t go home.

So David sends Uriah back to the front with a note for Joab, the general, to put Uriah in an exposed position where he’ll be killed—to make sure by pulling the other troops back and leaving him stranded. Joab does it. David has committed adultery and murder. After Bathsheba mourns for her deceased husband, David sends for and marries Bathsheba. The baby has been born and at least nine months have passed, but David has not repented.
God sends Nathan the prophet to tell David a story about injustice, and David takes the bait. He’s angry hearing the story. Then Nathan reveals that the story is about David’s sin against Bathsheba and Uriah. Nathan predicts the baby’s death and that violence and abuse will continue in David’s family. David repents and worships. But Nathan’s prophecies still come true.
# # # **Analysis of David and Bathsheba’s Sin, God’s Judgment, and Lessons for Youth**

# # # # **1. The Sin of David and Bathsheba**
- **Adultery & Abuse of Power**
- David, Israel’s king, saw Bathsheba (Uriah’s wife) bathing and summoned her, despite knowing she was married (2 Samuel 11:2-4).
- The phrase *"he took her"* (2 Samuel 11:4) suggests coercion due to David’s royal authority, raising ethical questions about consent.
- Bathsheba’s role is debated: Some argue she was a victim of power imbalance, while others question her agency.

- **Murder & Deception**
- To cover his sin, David arranged for Uriah’s death in battle (2 Samuel 11:14-17).
- This escalated from lust to adultery to murder—a *"slippery slope"* of sin (James 1:14-15).

# # # # **2. God’s Judgment**
- **Divine Confrontation**
- God sent Nathan the prophet to rebuke David with a parable, exposing his guilt (2 Samuel 12:1-7).
- David repented (Psalm 51), but consequences remained.

- **Punishments**
- **Death of Their Child**: Their first son died as direct judgment (2 Samuel 12:14).
- **Family Turmoil**: Violence plagued David’s house (e.g., Absalom’s rebellion, Amnon’s r**e of Tamar).
- **Public Shame**: Nathan declared, *"You did it secretly, but I will do this before all Israel"* (2 Samuel 12:12).

- **Mercy Amid Judgment**
- God forgave David (2 Samuel 12:13) and blessed them with Solomon, future king of Israel.

# # # # **3. Lessons for Youth**
✅ **Guard Against Temptation**
- David’s sin began with *"a look"* (Matthew 5:28). Youth must flee lust—online or offline.

✅ **Sin Has Ripple Effects**
- One bad choice (skipping war, indulging lust) led to generational consequences.

✅ **Repentance ≠ Erased Consequences**
- God forgives, but scars remain (e.g., broken trust, lifelong regrets).

✅ **Power Demands Responsibility**
- Leaders (or influencers) must not exploit authority—*"Whoever exalts himself will be humbled"* (Matthew 23:12).

✅ **God Redeems Broken Stories**
- Despite failure, David’s lineage included *Jesus* (Matthew 1:6-7). No one is beyond grace.

---

# # # **Youth Challenge**
*"Will you learn from David’s mistakes? Flee temptation, repent quickly, and trust God’s mercy—but remember: choices echo forever."* 🔥

**Key Verse:** *"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."* (Proverbs 4:23)

PARABLE OF THE TWO SONS
What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go.
“Which of the two did what his father wanted?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.
For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.

# # # **The Parable of the Two Sons - Simple Explanation (Matthew 21:28-32)**

**Context:**
Jesus told this story to religious leaders (Pharisees) who claimed to obey God but rejected John the Baptist’s call to repentance. The parable reveals **true obedience vs. empty words**.

---

# # # **Key Lessons for Youth (and All Believers)**

# # # # **1. Actions > Words**
- **First Son:** Said *“No”* but later **repented and obeyed**.
- Represents *sinners* (tax collectors, prostitutes) who initially rebelled but later turned to God.
- **Second Son:** Said *“Yes, sir!”* but **never acted**.
- Represents *religious hypocrites* who talk like followers but live disobediently.
- **Jesus’ Point:** God cares about **what you DO**, not just what you promise .

# # # # **2. Repentance is Powerful**
- The first son **“changed his mind”** (Greek: *metamelomai* = heartfelt repentance).
- Even if you’ve said *“No”* to God before, He honors **genuine turnaround** (like the prodigal son, Luke 15:11-24).
- **Youth Application:**
- Maybe you’ve ignored God’s call (purity, honesty, etc.). It’s not too late to **change direction**!

# # # # **3. Hypocrisy is Dangerous**
- The second son looked obedient but **lied**.
- Jesus warns: *“Not everyone who says ‘Lord, Lord’ enters heaven”* (Matthew 7:21).
- **Today’s Parallel:**
- Posting Bible verses but living in secret sin.
- Judging others while ignoring your own flaws.

# # # # **4. Sinners Can Outpace the “Righteous”**
- Shocking truth: *“Tax collectors and prostitutes enter God’s Kingdom ahead of you”* (v.31).
- Why? They **humbled themselves, repented, and believed** John’s message.
- Religious leaders **trusted their moral résumé** and missed salvation .

# # # # **5. Youth Challenge: Live Authentically**
✅ **Admit When You’re Wrong** – Like the first son, own your *“No”* and turn to God.
✅ **Match Words with Deeds** – Don’t just *say* you love Jesus; **follow Him** (John 14:15).
✅ **Beware of Spiritual Pride** – Even “good kids” need daily repentance.

**“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”** (James 4:6)

---

# # # **Why This Matters Today**
- Social media pressures youth to **perform righteousness** while hiding struggles. Jesus says: *“Come as you are—but don’t stay there!”*
- **John the Baptist’s message still applies:** *“Repent, for the Kingdom is near!”* (Matthew 3:2).

**🔥 Reflection:**
*Are you the son who said “No” but is now willing to obey? Or the one who says “Yes” but ignores God’s will?*

**Grace is for rebels who repent—not pretenders who perform.** ✝️💡

JESUS LESSON OF THE WITHERED FIG TREE
Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry.
Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.
When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” they asked.
Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.
:If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

# # # **Jesus and the Withered Fig Tree - Simple Explanation**

**Context:**
Jesus curses a fig tree for being **full of leaves but no fruit**—a powerful object lesson on **faith, fruitfulness, and prayer**.

---

# # # **Key Lessons for Youth (and All Believers)**

# # # # 1. **God Hates Empty Religion (The Fig Tree’s Warning)**
- The tree looked healthy (had leaves) but was **fruitless**—just like people who:
- *Go to church but don’t live for God.*
- *Post Bible verses but harbor secret sin.*
- *Talk faith but lack love, obedience, or good works.*
- **Jesus’ judgment:** Fruitlessness leads to spiritual death (John 15:2).

# # # # 2. **Faith Moves Mountains (v. 21-22)**
- The disciples were shocked the tree withered instantly. Jesus responds:
- *"If you have faith without doubting, even mountains will obey you!"*
- **Not** about "name-it-claim-it" magic—but **trusting God’s power and will**.
- *Example:* Praying for a friend’s salvation, overcoming addiction, or standing firm under pressure.

# # # # 3. **Prayer Works—But It’s Not a Genie Lamp (v. 22)**
- *"If you believe, you’ll receive"* **≠** "God gives whatever you want."
- **Real faith prays:**
- *According to God’s Word* (1 John 5:14).
- *Without selfish motives* (James 4:3).
- *With surrender* ("Your will be done").

---

# # # **What This Means for Youth Today**

✅ **Bear Fruit or Wither**
- *"Live so that if someone accuses you of being a Christian, there’s enough evidence to convict you."*
- Fruit = Love, joy, purity, kindness, sharing Jesus (Galatians 5:22-23).

✅ **Faith > Fear**
- Got a "mountain" (anxiety, family issues, sin struggles)? Speak to it in Jesus’ name—then act in faith!

✅ **Pray with Confidence**
- Don’t just *say* prayers—*believe* God answers (Mark 11:24).

**"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me, you will bear much fruit."** (John 15:5)

**🔥 Challenge:**
*Is your faith all leaves (appearances) or real fruit?*
*What "mountain" do you need to speak to today?*

**Jesus demands real faith—not fake spirituality!** 💥🙏

JESUS CHRIST TEACH HOW TO BECOME TRUE GREAT!

Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of him.
“What is it you want?” he asked. She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.”
“You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?” “We can,” they answered.:Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.”
When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers.:Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.
Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,:and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—
just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him.,

# # # **Jesus Teaches True Greatness (Matthew 20:20-28) - Simple Explanation**

**Context:**
James and John's mother asks Jesus to give her sons the highest positions in His Kingdom. This sparks a lesson on **God's definition of success**.

---

# # # **Key Lessons from Jesus**

# # # # 1. **Kingdom Positions Aren't Earned by Ambition** (v. 20-23)
- The disciples wanted *power* (to sit at Jesus' right/left), but Jesus says:
- *"You don't know what you're asking"* → Glory comes through suffering (His "cup" = the cross).
- *"These seats are prepared by My Father"* → God assigns roles; we don’t lobby for them.

# # # # 2. **God’s Kingdom Flips Worldly Values** (v. 24-26)
- The other disciples were angry—not because the request was wrong, but because *they wanted the same thing!*
- Jesus contrasts:
- **Worldly leadership** = "Lording over" people.
- **Kingdom leadership** = Serving humbly.

# # # # 3. **Jesus Models Servant Leadership** (v. 27-28)
- His mission: *"Not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom."*
- **Greatest = Servant** (v. 26):
- Not titles, but *towel and basin* (John 13:14-15).
- Not climbing ladders, but *washing feet*.

---

# # # **What This Means for Us Today**

✅ **Check Your Motives**
- Are you serving to *get noticed* or to *glorify God*?
- *"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6).

✅ **Serve Like Jesus**
- Greatness in God’s eyes =
- **Parents** sacrificing for kids.
- **Friends** putting others first.
- **Leaders** empowering, not controlling.

✅ **Embrace the "Cup"**
- Jesus’ path to glory involved the cross.
- *Your "cup" might be:*
- Unseen acts of love.
- Enduring criticism for Christ.
- Choosing humility over hype.

**"Whoever wants to be first must be slave of all."** (Mark 10:44)

**🔥 Reflection:**
*Are you scrambling for the spotlight—or kneeling with a servant’s heart?*

**Jesus redefines success: The way up is down!** ⬇️💝

PARABLE OF THE VINEYARD WORKER

:“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.
He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.:“About nine in the morning he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing.
:He told them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’
So they went. “He went out again about noon and about three in the afternoon and did the same thing.
About five in the afternoon he went out and found still others standing around. He asked them, ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’
“‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered. “He said to them, ‘You also go and work in my vineyard.’
“When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last ones hired and going on to the first.’
The workers who were hired about five in the afternoon came and each received a denarius.
So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius.
:When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner.
These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’
“But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius?
Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you.
:Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’
So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”

# # # **The Parable of the Vineyard Workers - Simple Explanation**

**Context:** Jesus tells this story to show how **God’s grace and generosity** defy human expectations of "fairness."

---

# # # **Key Lessons from the Parable**

# # # # **1. Salvation is a Gift, Not a Wage**
- **All workers received the same pay (a *denarius* = daily wage), regardless of hours worked.**
- This represents **eternal life**—given equally to those saved early (like lifelong believers) and late (like deathbed conversions).
- *"The last will be first, and the first last"* (v.16) → No one "earns" heaven; it’s **God’s grace**.

# # # # **2. God’s Generosity > Human "Fairness"**
- The early workers **grumbled**, but the landowner (God) says:
- *"Didn’t you agree to a denarius?"* → God keeps His promises.
- *"Are you envious because I’m generous?"* → We resent grace when we think we *deserve* more.

# # # # **3. It’s Never Too Late to Serve God**
- Some workers started at **5 PM**—yet received full reward.
- **For us:** No matter how late you come to Christ (or how little you feel you’ve done), His grace **covers and rewards you fully**.

# # # # **4. Warning Against Pride in "Spiritual Seniority"**
- The early workers felt *superior* because they labored longer.
- **Today’s parallel:** Longtime believers judging new converts or assuming they’re "better" Christians.

---

# # # **What This Means for Us Today**

✅ **Rejoice in God’s Grace** – Whether you’ve followed Jesus for 50 years or 5 minutes, salvation is **equally yours**.
✅ **Serve Without Comparing** – Don’t keep score of who "does more" for God.
✅ **Never Despair Over "Wasted Time"** – If you’re turning to Christ now, His welcome is just as joyful!
✅ **Check Your Heart** – Are you jealous when God blesses others *undeservedly*?

**"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."** (Ephesians 2:8-9)

**🔥 Reflection:**
*Are you like the early workers—trusting in your "labor"? Or are you amazed by God’s generosity to all who come to Him?*

**God doesn’t pay wages—He gives grace!** 💝

JESUS CHRIST VIEW ON EARTHLY RICHES

:A certain ruler asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
:“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.
:You know the commandments: ‘You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.’”
“All these I have kept since I was a boy,” he said.
When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was very wealthy.
Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!
:Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?”
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
Peter said to him, “We have left all we had to follow you!”
Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to them, “no one who has left home or wife or brothers or sisters or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God
will fail to receive many times as much in this age, and in the age to come eternal life.”

# # # **Jesus & the Rich Young Ruler (Luke 18:18-30) - Simple Explanation**
**Context:** A wealthy ruler asks Jesus how to gain eternal life, confident in his moral record. Jesus exposes his heart’s idolatry.

---

# # # **What Jesus Teaches**
1. **No One is "Good Enough"** (v. 19)
- Jesus redirects "good teacher" to God’s absolute holiness. *"No one is good but God"* → All fall short (Romans 3:23).

2. **Moralism ≠ Salvation** (v. 20-21)
- The ruler claims obedience to commandments, but Jesus reveals his **heart issue**: *idolatry of wealth*.

3. **The Cost of Discipleship** (v. 22)
- Jesus commands:
- ✅ *"Sell everything"* → Renounce security in wealth.
- ✅ *"Give to the poor"* → Invest in eternity.
- ✅ *"Follow Me"* → Prioritize Christ above all.

4. **Wealth is a Spiritual Danger** (v. 24-25)
- *"Easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye"* → Humanly impossible for the self-reliant rich to be saved.

5. **Salvation is God’s Work** (v. 27)
- *"What is impossible for man is possible with God"* → Grace alone saves (Ephesians 2:8-9).

6. **Eternal Rewards** (v. 29-30)
- Sacrificing for Christ brings **greater blessings now + eternal life**.

---

# # # **Message to the Rich & Youth Today**
# # # # 🔥 To the Wealthy:
- **Wealth isn’t evil**—but *trusting* it is deadly (1 Timothy 6:17).
- **Generosity breaks wealth’s grip** → "Treasure in heaven" (v. 22) outlasts Bitcoin or billion-dollar empires.

# # # # 🔥 To Youth:
- **Your "idols" may not be money**:
- *Career dreams* that exclude God.
- *Relationships* you won’t surrender.
- *Social media fame* you crave.
- Jesus’ demand remains: **"Give it up and follow Me."**

# # # # 💡 Hope for All:
- **You can’t save yourself**—but God *can* (v. 27)!
- **Sacrifice for Jesus = gain**:
> *"No one who has left home... will fail to receive 100x more..."* (v. 29-30).

---

# # # **How to Respond**
✅ **Identify your "rich young ruler" idol**: What won’t you surrender to Jesus?
✅ **Act radically**: Delete apps, end toxic relationships, give generously—whatever competes with Christ.
✅ **Trust grace**: You can’t earn heaven—cry out, *"God, save me!"*

> *"Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* (Matthew 6:21)
**Will you walk away sorrowful? Or surrender and find joy?**

GOD HATES DIVORCE
When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan.:Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there. Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?:“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’
:and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
“Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.:I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for s*xual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”:The disciples said to him, “If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.”

# # # **Jesus' Teaching on Marriage & Divorce (Matthew 19:1-12) - Simple Explanation**

**Context:**
Pharisees tried to trap Jesus by asking, *"Can a man divorce his wife for any reason?"* (Jewish leaders debated this). Jesus responds by going back to **God’s original design**.

---

# # # **What Jesus Teaches**

# # # # **1. Marriage is Sacred (God’s Plan from Creation)**
- **"Male and female"** – Marriage is between **one man and one woman** (v.4).
- **"One flesh"** – Not just a contract, but a **covenant union** (v.5).
- **"What God joins, let no one separate"** – Marriage is **God’s work**, not just man’s choice (v.6).

# # # # **2. Divorce Was Permitted Because of Hard Hearts (v.8)**
- Moses allowed divorce certificates (Deuteronomy 24:1) **not because God approved it**, but because sinful people refused to obey.
- **Exception:** Jesus says divorce is only permissible for *"s*xual immorality"* (adultery, porneia) (v.9).

# # # # **3. Remarrying After Unbiblical Divorce = Adultery (v.9)**
- If a man divorces his wife **without biblical grounds** and marries another, he sins against God’s covenant.

# # # # **4. Singleness is Honorable Too (v.10-12)**
- The disciples react: *"If marriage is this serious, better not marry!"*
- Jesus affirms **singleness** as a valid calling for those gifted to serve God without marital duties.

# # # **Key Lessons for Today**

✅ **Marriage is a Lifelong Covenant** – Not disposable when "feelings change."
✅ **Divorce is Not God’s Desire** – He permits it only in extreme cases (cheating, abandonment—1 Cor. 7:15).
✅ **Forgiveness & Restoration Should Be Sought First** – God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), but He **redeems broken stories**.
✅ **Singleness is Not Lesser** – Some are called to serve God without marriage (Paul, John the Baptist).

**"Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."** (Ephesians 5:31)

**🔥 Modern Applications:**
- **Before marriage:** Choose a godly spouse wisely—don’t rush!
- **In marriage:** Fight for unity, not an "easy out."
- **After divorce:** Seek repentance, healing, and God’s grace.

**God’s design is perfect—our job is to trust and obey Him!** 💍✝️

HOW TO KNOW YOUR PARTNER IS A LIAR!
Liars are Satan's representatives on earth! They are specialists at causing confusion and making you look stupid!
They have the special capacity to drive you insane and eventually get you locked in a psychiatric hospital! Liars are people with dead conscience! They lie so much even the devil bow at the magnitude of their lies!
Liars are fake! They wear fake smile, fake joy, give fake love, fake money and even fake s*x! Each time you are with them you sense they are not really with you. They tell you they love you but their eyes and action says something else.
He says he respects your opinion, praises you silly and do the exact opposite of what you advise him. She says you are the best guy she has ever met yet keeps flirting with better looking or richer guys.
They don't give you straight answers when you ask them questions e.g . "Where where you at 8am in the morning?" "Guess what?" He replied enthusiastically! "I just bought you a new pair of shoes!"
Of course you are excited at the sight of the shoe, the question and tension in the ear is temporarily forgotten. He had successfully diverted your attention from the question you asked.
Liars reply your question with a question e.g "who is Susie?" He feigned innocence and respond "Susie? Who is Susie?" He had tactically use the response to quickly think of an answer to give.
Liars don't answer questions straight. Liars deny a lot thereby driving you mad. Everyone knows the guy is wearing a black shirt but he insists it's white! Liars cheat a lot.
You see different girls in his apartment but he claims they are sisters in the Lord, men-tees, counsel-lees, distant cousins or nephews, colleagues at works etc yet they flirt with him, sit on his laps or send him s*xy messages.
Liars are smooth talkers. He always tells you he loves you, wanna die for you, you are the only one yet hides you in public, would not introduce you to his parents and beats you at every slight provocation.
Liars inflate the price of goods. This is common among ladies. Every one knows the 6kg gas cylinder gets filled at 2k, it is from her mouth you hear the economic recession has doubled!
They now fill the tank at 4k! Liars hide their phones a lot. The truth about his life is on his phone but would not allow you to touch it. Liars swear a lot. If you constantly hear, "To God who bear me witness!" "I swear!"
"God!" while touching his tongue and raising the finger to heaven, his confession is questionable. If you are really speaking the truth, you don't need to swear, what for?
Liars avoid eyes contact a lot. Each time he tells you lies, he avoids eye contact. Our eyes speak volumes, he knows you can get the truth from his eyes. Liars blink a lot.
They blink in order to get confidence for the lies they are about to tell. If he constantly blinks while answering your question, he is either telling lies or has sand in his eyes! Liars deny a lot.
You catch him red handed yet he denies he ever did it. Ugh! Heard enough? These points apply to both s*x but candidly, the percentage of men who lie in relationships is far higher than women.
Some women are masters at telling lies but most men are grand masters! Take your time, study the relationship you are into before saying "I DO".
Once you are joined in matrimony to a liar, your hypertension is certain unless the good God of heaven has mercy on you and saves your spouse.
Never marry an incorrigible, unrepentant, blatant, chronic, super talented liar! He will nail your happiness to the coffin. May your eyes be opened before it is too late. God bless!
