It will be very difficult to judge a structure until you at least see the design specification and the load combinations.
Looking at the structural arrangement, ok let say the jointing is lap splice, which allows axial forces (in this case more of tensile) but why misalign the beams 🤔? The forces are concentrated to a point (considering the cross section, it can be negligible).
In my opinion, this design is good for a building that'll undergo a minor seismic effect (like manmade vibration) even though I don't fully understand the arrangement and representation of the rebars. The problem now is, if my hypothesis is right, what could be the manmade applied vibration?
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS ARRANGEMENT?
