Welcome Back to School Prayer

Dear Lord,
Thank You for bringing us safely into a new school term. We commit our students into Your care. Grant them wisdom, focus, and a willing heart to learn. Bless our teachers with patience and strength, and guide them in all they do.

We pray for our parents. Give them peace, provision, and wisdom as they support their children. Reward their efforts and fill their homes with joy.

Cover our school with Your protection and peace. Let this term be fruitful, orderly, and successful for all in Jesus name!

Amen.🙏🏻❤️

Learning shapes a person in quiet but lasting ways. It opens the mind to wider possibilities and gives strength for days when life feels demanding. Each new idea adds a little more clarity, and each skill gained steadies the hands for future work. Growth seldom comes in a rush. It often arrives through steady steps, patient practice, and moments of honest curiosity.

Do not fear the subjects that seem difficult. They often carry the lessons that lift you further. Stay willing to ask questions, to read a little more, and to try again when something does not make sense at first. In time the effort gathers into confidence, and confidence opens doors that once seemed distant.

Those who keep learning never stay where life met them. They rise in understanding, in wisdom, and in the courage to handle new seasons. Give your mind the chance to expand. Give yourself the honour of becoming better than yesterday. Every bit of knowledge you gain is a light you carry into the future.

Secondary school is actually your foundation to build your future and if you misuse it you will definitely regret it

You don’t have to wait till you finish school to start shaping your future.
The choices you make now will decide how far you go later.

Here are 10 simple but powerful things to start doing today 👇

1. Take your studies seriously.
You don’t need to be perfect — just give your best. Education opens doors, even if not immediately.

2. Learn how to manage your time.
Don’t waste hours scrolling or gossiping.
Learn to balance school, rest, and personal growth.

3. Read beyond your textbooks.
Read books that teach about life, money, confidence, and mindset. The earlier you learn, the better.

4. Choose your friends wisely.
Your friends can push you up or pull you down. Stay around people who want to grow.

5. Learn a skill.
It could be tech, design, baking, writing, or public speaking — anything that can help you later in life.

6. Listen more, talk less.
You grow faster when you pay attention and learn from others.

7. Stay away from bad habits early.
Things like drugs, gossip, and laziness destroy futures quietly. Don’t let short-term fun ruin long-term success.

8. Set small goals.
You don’t need to figure out your whole life — just start setting and achieving small goals one step at a time.

9. Respect your parents and teachers.
They may not be perfect, but their guidance can save you from mistakes they already made.

10. Believe in yourself.
No one can dream for you — you have to believe you can do great things, even if others don’t see it yet.

💡 Remember: Your future is not something that just happens — it’s something you prepare for.
Start now, stay focused, and your future self will thank you.
