Trailblazing the Future: Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Food Sciences Kicks Off AAU’s Digital Transformation!
A brighter future is on the horizon at Ambrose Alli University! The ICT Directorate, led by Ag. Director Dr. O.M. Iniaghe, has launched a dynamic sensitization tour aimed at enhancing academic operations and boosting global visibility.
Directed by the visionary leadership of Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunday Olowo-Samuel, this initiative builds on existing successes to further elevate AAU’s excellence.
A central focus of this initiative is the digitization of transcripts, especially for alumni who graduated years ago. On completion, this will improve access, streamline application processes, and strengthen alumni pride and engagement.
In addition, the initiative includes the creation of standardized academic profiles, mandatory global networking for academic staff, and the digitization of faculty publications to increase academic visibility.
The Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Food Science has embraced this vision, with Dean Prof. (Mrs.) G.O. Igene and her team committed to swift and impactful implementation.

CASSAVA PEEL IS NOT A WASTE IN AGRICULTURE EVERY WASTE IS MONEY

Nothing is waste In agriculture every waste is money
You can use Cassava peel to make livestock feed, cassava peel is rich in fiber and energy.
How to make cassava peel meal
_get as many eating cassava peel ,or collect from those that peel cassava .
_Wash the cassava peel with clean water to removed all the dirty..
Soak the cassava peel with water to ferment for 24_48 hours
_sun dry the cassava peel and dry it.
Now your cassava peel is ready to use to make feed,it can be use to reduce 2% of maize when making feed.
It also works well in banana plantation,it acts as a best organic fertilizer.
it can be consume by human now by some process.
It actually contain protein, and is arguably one of the best feed for goat when dried.
It's good for piggery
Pigs consume alot of it.
You can also use it to feed piggery production ....pigs eat it alot
Some people also sun drying it to be ready with white cassava (lafu) and dry yam peel for Amala.

"THE RETURN OF EKPOMA RICE BY AMBROSE ALLI UNIVERSITY, EKPOMA"
The Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Food Science, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma has successfully reintroduced rice cultivation in Ekpoma.
Below is the outgoing DEAN of the Faculty, PROFESSOR FREDERICK IGENE harvesting this season's cultivated rice with his 400 Level Practical Year Students at the Teaching and Research Farm of the University.
