Our students enjoyed an unforgettable tour of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium—one of Nigeria’s most prestigious sports facilities and a true masterpiece of modern architecture.

From the immaculate pitch to the world-class seating, locker rooms, control rooms, and training sections, the visit exposed them to the level of planning and excellence required to run an international sports arena. They learnt first-hand about stadium management, sports technology, facility maintenance, and the discipline that drives professional athletes.

Beyond the excitement, the excursion opened their minds to diverse career paths in sports management, event coordination, facility engineering, sports medicine, security operations, and media coverage.

It was more than a tour—it was an inspiring educational experience that expanded their vision and ignited new aspirations.

Harry Haigh Schools, Eket, is an approved centre for Akwa Ibom State BECE, NECO BECE, SS2 Promotional Examinations, WAEC, and NECO SSCE.

Harry Haigh Schools currently possesses one of the best learning environments you can think of, and their fees are very affordable, with well-equipped science laboratories, libraries, school clinics, basic technology workshop, ICT centre, standard sports ground, spacious and well-ventilated classrooms, 24 hours power and clean water supply, well-equipped multipurpose hall, creative arts and music studios, well-equipped home economics department, a school farm for agricultural practicals, well-equipped skills acquisition workshop, well-qualified and skilled teachers (including diction teacher), as well as updated teaching and instructional materials.
