Before starting your journey in memorizing the Quran hold on to the following:
1. Sincerity
2. Memorization bit by bit
3. Constant Revision
4. Listen to a Reciter Daily
5. Try and Stick to one Mushaf
6. Pray with what you have memorized
7. Seek for forgiveness from Allah as much as possible
May Almighty Allah make us among His people and make the Quran as Hujah for us not against us
