We are gutted to announce the death of Maimuna Aminu Ummi, a student off Microbiology from the Faculty of Sciences currently in her 200 level.

Ummi unfortunately lost her life in a fire outbreak that ravaged their home.

She has been buried today around 11:00am according to islamic rites.

On behalf of the management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Alumni. We wish to extend our condolences to her family, department and to all members of the community.

May her soul rest in perfect peace

Danfodiyo Varsity Directs 2021/2022 Aspirants to Upload O'level Results on JAMB Portal

In a press release from the admission officer of the university dated 23rd February 2022, the management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has directed all 2021/2022 aspirants to upload their O'Level results on the Jamb portal through their CAPS e-facility.

This statement was contained in a memo titled GENERAL NOTICE, signed by the admission officer seeking the instruction to be treated with urgency without any delay.

The memo reads: "This is to notify all the candidates that applied for admission into the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto for the 2021/2022 session, that as a matter of urgency, they should upload their O'Level (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc) on the JAMB portal through their CAPS e-facility."

"Please treat as urgent as important." It added.
