Bori Business School, an emerging indigenous tertiary institution seeks to fill the following vacant positions:
1.Executive Assistant (EA) to the Executive Director
Key Responsibilities
* Provides high-level administrative and organizational support to the leadership of the school through the office of the Executive Director.
* Managing the school executive’s calendar, meetings and schedules.
* Coordinating internal and external communication for the School.
* Screening, prioritizing and directing emails, phone calls, and correspondences as deemed fit.
* Preparing official communication.
* Drafting and producing presentations or documents for meetings.
* Taking and distributing minutes in meetings and coordinating follow-ups.
* Planning, scheduling and arranging travel or logistics if needed.
* Organizing events or official functions for senior management.
* Maintaining confidential files and records.
* Acting as the point of contact between executives and staff, students, parents and external partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Interested candidates must credibly have the following qualifications and skills:
* A Bachelor’s degree, HND, ND or any other professional qualifications in Business Administration, Management or other related fields.
* Prior experience of a minimum of 3 years on administrative or executive support services.
* Possesses excellent communication skills.
* Have proficiency in Corel Draw, Microsoft Office, etc
* Strong organisational, time-management and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
* Exhibit professional presentation and attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team with problem-solving ability and familiarity with academic environments.
2.Office Assistant
Key Responsibilities
* To support the daily operations of the School.
* Organise and maintain office files, update records.
* Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and direct inquiries professionally.
* Prepare basic documents — memos, reports, letters, scanning and photocopying as needed.
* Order and manage office supplies.
* Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments.
* Ensure general equipment is functioning.
* Help organise events, distribute mails, manage couriers, etc.
* Ability to work with other departments or Sections to maintain compliance and accuracy for overall higher value.
B. Qualifications.
Interested candidates should have:
* A minimum of Diploma, NCE or equivalents.
* Have experience in office settings and willingness to teach and be teachable.
* Competency in office software and strong knowledge of social media handling.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Professional office and phone etiquette.
* Reliable, detail-oriented and able to multitask.
* A good team player and Students service attitude.
3.Assistant Librarian
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the circulation of library materials — issue, return, renew books and other items; manage overdue notices and fines.
* Help students, faculty, and staff locate and use resources (books, journals, online databases, catalogues).
* Provide reference and information support, answering enquiries and guiding users on library systems.
* Conduct library orientations and basic assistance for new users.
* Support cataloguing and classification of books and other materials according to standard systems.
* Assist with processing new acquisitions, inventory, and shelving.
* Maintain accurate records and statistics of library use and materials.
* Assist users in navigating electronic resources, online databases, and digital catalogs.
Qualifications
Interested candidates should have:
* A Bachelor’s degree, ND, NCE or other related certifications in Library and Information Science (LIS), Information Studies, etc.
* Having experience in library services, academic or public library settings.
* Possesses a good measure of computer literacy: MS Office, library management systems, online catalogs.
* Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills to assist users effectively.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other staff.
* Ability to uphold library policies and promote resource use.
