Donate At Least A Textbook To Bori Public Library

The Public Library, Bori, is the only library in the entire Khana LGA and it's seriously begging for attention.

It requires a massive restock of modern textbooks, covering all disciplines and professions, including children related books. Whatever book(s) you can donate, we will be glad to receive you and your donation(s).

This advocacy is part of a broader Corporate Social Responsibility of Bori Business School, to achieve a sustainable reading culture, stimulate entrepreneurship awareness, and build communal leadership among Niger Deltans, and primarily among Ogoni students and youths.

We equally encourage you to kindly visit the library to ascertain its true situation from 9:00am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.

On behalf of Bori Adult and Youth Learning Centre, I paid a congratulatory visit to the Director of Rivers State Agency for Adult and Non-formal Education, Port Harcourt, on his recent appointment as a member to the
Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board.

He showed me a warm reception and further assured me of his readiness to strengthen the the capacity of Bori Adult and Youth Learning Centre, Bori, to cater for the needs of the Non-formal Education sector in Ogoniland, especially in Khana LGA.

*Empowering Marginalised Communities Through Solar Energy*

One major challenge in the 21st century is that those in marginalised communities are usually left out in the scheme of things, with young women mostly affected, as they constitute the most vulnerable groups.

Over the years, our Solar-Skill-Up initiative has created an ecosystem of young solar entrepreneurs who are addressing the energy deficit in Nigeria by offering solar energy solutions, impacting individuals and driving rural economic growth.

In partnership with Bori Business School, Bori, the BuraSolutions Solar Academy is rolling out a one-month crash programme on solar PV design and installation training via the Solar-Skill-Up initiative in Bori, Southern Nigeria.

The programme, which covers entrepreneurship skills and hands-on practical experience, is designed to make participants job-ready upon completion. It's geared to equip the trainees to take advantage of opportunity in the renewable energy sector to initiate life-changing solar ventures and start a career in the clean energy space.

2. Nigeria Society of Engineering Technicians (NISET), for Diploma students, and
